I live past Monroeville and work on the South Side.
Boyce Park is nice, there was Vette meet there last summer, was cool seeing them all.
-
Mine was a 1986 Murcury Capri GS Fastback. White with the factory wire wheel covers and red interior with removable glass sunroof. Cool looking car but bad on wet roads and snow. Use to put a couple hundred pounds in the back with studed snow tires on for winter driving. The thing had the 3.8 V6, pretty quick.

If it were me, I would be going for that black 07 Monte Carlo SS. Sharp and better MPG, plus its sweet looking and its still an SS.
-
Why the hell would someone do that to their car? It looks like crap.
A saw a early 90's Impala like that last summer on the highway, I had to hold back the lauging enough so that I could get a picture of it with my phone. It was funny seeing the stupid thing bouncing around and tilting from one side to the other, all while driving 40mph in a 55.

Oh my dude, I'm so sorry to hear what happened. Seeing that picture makes me want to cry
and then
So who else is next here on the site to have something big happen to their SS? We now have two fires this year and a couple stolen trucks. Whats next?
-
Man, I'm sorry to hear this. Seeing these posts piss me off. So how many turcks have been stolen on this site so far this year? This is getting ridiculous.
-
I posted something about that a couple weeks ago, no one here seemed to like it at all. I think it's pretty cool looking myself.
-
I could be interested. I see the 24th is a Saturday, which is a day that I work. So I guess it all depends on where you are thinking of meeting and the time.
-
If you do a search on the digital control system, you would find that this can not be done. Not sure about the streering wheel controls though, guessing no to that as well.
-
I remember you.

Congrats, its all nice. Looks like you have some nice yard around the house too. Put me down for a invite, I want either chicken or steak.

Sweet rides, me likes.
I always wanted a typhoon or cyclone. I came close to once getting a red and silver typhoon back around 1997 but didn't.
At the time I wasn't making much money, so the budget would not allow it.
-
I remember you
Just kidding, nice to see you coming back, hope all is well.
-
That was funny, but this one had me lauging so hard that I cryed : )

Maybe because I've been there before.

It might be hard to find at a good price right now but the 2007 and 2008 new silverados/gmc us a split bench in the extended cabs. Check out the website for pictures.
Bob
Wow, it's bob the builder. Where on earth have you been? Haven't seen you around here in ages.

I would rather spend that kind of cash towards a house then that.

Boyd Coddington died. How's he still going to customize trucks? And it sounds like it's all flash and no dash. Sorry Ford has taken that honor with the Harley Davidson edition.
The date that page was posted was before his untimely death.
And for the looks, I think it's ugly.

Ditch the Full Coverage...
Especially if you are mechanically incline. ues that extra couple hundred buck your saving to buy your VETTE!
Insurance Prices are outragouse. Full Coverage is throwing you money away.
I can put a front clip on my truck for under $1500, that is about 4 months of Insurance!
I waited tell I could buy mine outright, but it was used, only paid 20k.
~Danny
WHAT????? Are you saying you pay 3 thousand bucks a year for insurance? Holly Christ, and I thought I paid a lot at a thousand a year for two new cars.
-
Just saw this post and wanted to say CONGRATS!!!!! Seeing that today is your birthday, I guess I know what you bought yourself for it, the ownership of the SS.
It's an amazing feeling paying the truck off, I paid mine off around Feb or March of last year and it felt like a hundred pounds was lifted off my shoulders.
-
I was offered and accepted a mechanical engineering job for a local buisness. I havent worked, since my accident, in 5 years and I graduate may 10 with my degree. I'm so excited. I'll be dealing with P.I.D control for you technical people..lol. Around here i am starting off really good.
pay $55K a year salary for 40 hour weeks with great hours.
mon-thurs 7-5 and friday 7-11 ..thats going to be nice..I start June 2 and I can not wait.
Working SUCKS!!!!!!!
Just kidding.
Congrats, hope all goes well. One question. Those seem like a lot of hours to be working, 10hrs M-Th and then 16hrs on F. That's going to make you feel tired all the time. Oh, is that Friday only 4hrs?
-
honestly......im not impressed at all....
I agree, I dont really find it all that impressive.
-
Thanks for posting the pics Fireman31. I felt dumb in asking for the pics.

Locking Gas Cap
in Off-Topic/General
Posted
I got a locking gas cap for the SS a few years ago and have never had any problems with it. My SUV has a locking fuel door that you open from the inside.
