  1. time to put some money into my 2009 cts-v , so thinking about selling the ss (for the record i love this truck but too many toys ) . i have a list of mods on my sig but will list them again 408 stroker mp122h magnacharger with 2.8 pulley afr 225cc mongoose heads custom comp cam 90 mm throttle body jba headers no cats corsa sport exsaust volant inntake e-fans custom tune built 4L80E trans 2800 stall tc baer brakes 22 inch momo storm \ 20 inch winter wheels custom sound system 8 rib pulley upgrade with 10% overdrive crank 2/2 drop mcgaughtys kit i am asking $37000 canadian no delivery but willing to meet at a resonable distance

  3. i warned you about that slippery slope cj . im still on it lol hope to get mine back next week , amazing that one little o ring in the wrong place can nuke a 4l80 so quick
  4. i have just had my second 4l80e put in my truck i ordered from patc they say it is good for 1000hp and im nowhere near that . on the first drive 3rd started slipping almost right away . the tune is a known good tune however when tested line pressusre is not building up on the 3rd gear clutches . they do not belive the pressure problem is in the trans but in the harness . any one have any ideas ? the conversion harrnes also came from patc .

  7. well if you were coming to ft mcmurray i dont know where you would get 94 octane . and dont forget that going to ft mcmurray is mostly downhill as our altitude is 300 to 500 m where as edmonton is over 1000m so you use more fuel going south . and be happy with your mpg i only get around 11mpg lol and with all the passing on 63 sometimes down to 8 or 9
  8. after looking at some calculators looks like i need 4.88 to make up for the difference in 1st gear
  9. 2800rpm stall and in the summer i run 22s the od is almost 32" , wish someone would come out with a better front diff for our trucks had it replaced twice under warranty

  12. lost some bottom end with the 4l80e conversion thinking of switching to 4.56 gears , just wondering if any other AWD guys are running 4.56 ? if its working for them

  17. i just picked up my 2009 cts-v . only got to load it on a trailer and then put it in my garage until spring but i still got it . can't wait to drive it . here's a few quick pics

  19. the 122 does better than the 112 but does not push enough air for my motor alot more mid range from the 122 but like the 112 it runs out of breath on the top end
  20. i have a mp122h on my 403 and even with a 2.9 pulley it cant keep up only getting about 7psi for boost
  21. yeah i will be getting the new magna tensioner to start but i will probably go to 8 rib as well since i want to get the 10% overdrive crank to get some more boost as well but i think that might wait until spring now . have to save up my pennies for my 2009 cts-v altho there will probably be snow here by the time it arrives and i will have to trailer it home
