its not the 40 extra tons that caused it more likely is the bump he hit before that when all six wheels were in the air ( it does happen and its a hell of a ride just really hard on the truck )
-
the 797a is only rated to 360 ton but we quite regularly put 400 ton on them .and my mstake that one is a 797a, and this is the first one this has happend to. our mine has had them for almost 8 years now . there are 14 , 797a's in our fleet and 15 797b's as well as 36 komatsu 930e . the 797b is rated to 390 ton in our application and yes i run them but i ususally run the shovels that load them now ( p&h 4100boss )
-
we will probably take most of it apart right there and transport it on lowboys to our shop and rebuild it there
-
actually the tires are about 12 feet high and thats a 400 ton haul truck there is no bigger truck you could fit 4 kw rigs in that box. its a caterpillar 797b
-
this is a caterpillar 797 haul truck after the tie rod snaped and the front end drove into the ground the operator was ok one more

What size pulley did anyone elses 122 come with ? mine came with a 2.8 havnt started it yet will be another week for that cause the harness to hook up my 90mm is mia . just hope that dont make to much boost with that pully
-
yeah the guy they had assigned to work on my truck called in sick so it will be a little late hopefully sept 9 i will be able to go get it .
-
the camera will be clicking as soon as i walk into the shop , well right after i am done cryin over the bill hahaha
-
thats at about 1600 ft and like i said the tc isnt set up properly yet . just have to wait and see i guess
-
well i just dropped my truck off to have the mp122h put on as well as new fuel pump , 60lbs injectors and 90mm intake , and a new tune it ran 13.2 @ 99 mph last time but that was without a tune for the tc so i think it would have been in the 12s with the right tune . cant wait to get it back
-
yeah i was driving it today its good just need to set the lock up speed different have to watch the transmission temps for now
-
i am going to get one in about 2 weeks just wondering if its ok to drive around without it
-
if i am getting a tc installed with a 2600rpm stall do i need a new tune or will it run ok without it ? i have a custom tune but i wont be able to get down to the shop for a week or so
-
i actually still have a predator 500 my friend with the camera was riding it . i just use my home powerwasher at the end of the driveway to clean them
-
you cant really see cause o the mud but mines an outlaw 525 . the 450s are awsome on the track but no good when it comes to that kind of trail riding

i am only getting about 4.5 lbs of boost with the 2.9 pulley on the 112 so its mostly the motor pullin the truck . i am hopin for 10 to 12 lbs of boost out of the 122 should give it some snap . i ran an srt8 charger and 300 threw the 1/4 and neither kept up like that cherokee maybe after that they might run him down .
-
one of my best friends just bought an srt8 cherokee so right after he broke it in it was go time . we did a bunch of races from a roll and a stop and i was always just a half a truck ahead slowly pulling away . i think by the end of the 1/4 mile it would be a full truck . cant wait for my tc and my mp122 . dam fast truck for stock tho way faster than any of the other srt8 cars

i had a simalar noise at high speed my dealer replaced my front gear set and now its gone . i know my dealer very well i have 60000 miles on my truck and they know eveything i have done to it and they still did it under warannty
-
i always let it warm up . i got the spring fixed it was on the other head so i think i got a bad batch of springs . so i made an appoinment to get them all replaced . i think i will be splitting the cost with the shop cause they shouldnt break but then agsin there is no warrenty on stuff like that
-
i just broke my second valve spring in 2 months . they are comp dual springs and i was told they are good for 700hp or more and i dont make that much so what could cause the failure ? it was the outter spring both times different cylinders . maybe a bad batch of springs not sure what could cause a spring to break
