  1. my poor ss with no trans now buried in snow
  2. i am not sure what kind of power i am running but it broke 2 built 4L65e's and ran a 12.73 1/4 mile with the trans slipping
  3. i dont have a logger and i am running 60lbs injectors
  4. i will have more videos once i get my transmission back in . it blew out 1st and 2nd gear

  6. I blew up my 4L65E again , first and second gear were in the pan , I am putting in the 4L80E i have a conversion kit but they told me the driveshafts are different for every truck . Is this true ? what length have other people gone with ? do you have to change both ?
  7. i am shocked by the amount of time and effort these police are putting into catching "street racers" . its all a bunch of politcal B.S . with the amount of drugs , violent crime , terroists and theft going on in Canada and the USA its rediculous that this is happening . the money should at least be spent on driver education some people may not like my opinion on this but in a lot of street racing deaths the accidents could have been prevented if the drivers of the cars were paying attention and relized the something is wrong maybe i shouldnt pull out in front of those cars speeding toward me or maybe i should get out of the way . the same is true during high speed pursuits by the very police that are driving these cars . maybe we should all just have lights and sirens on our cars and trucks so people know we are racing .
  8. after searching around this site, alot of us seem to have front diff problems . i am on my 3rd but my truck is now out of warrenty so i will have to pay for the next one . has anyone found aftermarket parts ie bearings, ring and pinion , and cv axles ? that are stronger and might actualy take the horsepower and heat of constant use
  9. i have never seen a radar jammer that actually works with the exception of a pic in a car mag of one that took up the whole seat . the government spnds billions of dollars on stealth technology do you really think a $200 box can do the same thing ?
  10. just so you are aware there are NO jammers scramblers that are legale and work . (except for lidar jammers ) . passive jammers are a joke there is no way for them to work and you cannot actively emit a radar signal to jam a cops gun ( i e federal offence ) stick with a good detector
  11. i love my escort passport 9500i . the gps has its faults but it can also tell you how fast you are going which is really cool , and i have never had a ticket with it . i used to have the 8500 so when i bought the 9500 i ran them side by side on a 400 mile trip the 8500 falsed 6 times more than the 9500 and neither missed a cop either way well worth the money , but only if you pay attention to them
  12. i just found out today that i didnt blow up my tranny just my new tc and that will be warranty but since they have it out and need to clean the pieces out of it i will have anything that looks worn replaced . got lucky on that one
  13. sounds electronic then maybe a wire got pinched when the put the tc on or it was left some where it got hot and melted this happened to me before took a couple days after the work was done for it to melt
  14. my tc is a bout a 3200 stall . sluggish out of the hole ? before tc 1.9 60 ft after tc 1.72 60ft . you will have to adapt your driving habits a little but i like it
  15. why no kevlar bands ? it had the wide bands already . and i am spending about $1500 cdn but this will only be my second rebuild
  16. my trans guy said the only thing avalible left to upgrade was to the kevlar bands which i will do but it lost 3rd gear first but it does have 40000miles on the rebuild , so i will try one more rebuild already got it booked in he squeezed me in next week
  17. yeah that first gear differince would be huge . i am going to give my 4l65e one more try before doing anything drastic
  18. well i was hoping it would take a bit longer but my truck stopped shifting into 3rd today and is slipping bad . oh well i think i will just get it rebuilt for now can't afford the 4l80e upgrade after doing the new blower and stuff
  19. i have a callies ls2 rotating asembly with diamond pistons
  20. the elevation at the strip here is 2300ft but its almost winter here so i may not get to the track before the last weekend
  21. the truck beside me said i was spinning tryin to get video of it cause i wanna see it too hahaha , it bounces off the rev limiter in 3rd then hooks and upshifts
  22. i am not sure if its all 4 at 50mph but its definatly spinning a couple of them . i am seeing around 7-9lbs of boost . i posted this pic before i will try to get some new ones and video soon
  23. well the mp122h is on as are the 60lbs injectors , high flow fuel pump (gm flex fuel pump) , 90mm throttle body and , 2800 stall tc , as well as e-fans . wow does it pull now only problem is traction , i spin al 4 off the line hard and if i punch it at 50 mph it spins aswell . who would have thought a 5200lbs awd truck would have traction issues with 22s on . pulled 12.9 at 103mph on the gtech with a 1.75 60ft . i will try to get some video up soon . still have some fine tunning to do with shift points and lock up of the tc
  24. well the mp122h is on but it came with a faulty intercooler pump so now i gotta wait another week here are some quick pics tho
