Actually the 60gb system is now 499.00 and also comes with 5 free blu-ray movies, for me to get the same with a x-box i would have to spend 450.00 on the elite system because i believe that is the only one with a hdmi port and then another 200 for the ability to play hd-dvd which is not as good as blu-ray and is in some crappy side drive that looks like cheap junk.That does not even go into the red light issues that over a million x-box owners have had to deal with. Like i said the games are secondary as im still mainly a pc gamer and always will be, but i wanted to see a 1080p picture and right now you get that with sony and nobody else!

Well the state ran a tax free weekend and it was time to update the monster 46" big screen Sony i have had for the last 10+ years, my choice was a Toshiba 42" 1080p LCD $1449.00+no tax = great deal, also got it with 17 months at 0% and cant wait for tomorrow when i pick it up. Patriots season and watching my redsox choke up this division lead will be Crystal clear this year.. Also didn't stop there and said screw it and for the first time in 7 years i bought a new gaming console the ps3 mainly for it's blu-ray capabilities. Yea i know x-box lovers the ps3 sucks yadda yadda yadda, when a x-box can give me wireless net, wireless controllers, free net connection and browsing and also play dvd, blu-ray and even up convert regular dvds i might of gave a x-box a thought, but it doesn't have any of those features and the games will come as they always have with Sony so I'm not worried. I cant wait to watch 300 in 1080p.

The sad part is you guys donated money to a site that frankly is a money generator and does not need donations, with ads plastered into about every inch of the free screen space available, i have heard these sites have been making the owner quite a bit of money and if that's true i find it disgusting that he would except money from members when he does not need it since the ads support the upkeep! I have seen the differences between a kid who respects what he gets and a kid who has everything handed to him, the point is teaching your kid about life and how to appreciate what he has, it is impossible for that to happen when right out of the gate he is handed the keys to something most adults have to work years for.

Are you ready to fight for your life? Are you ready to watch people you know and are friends with get sent into harms way sometime not returning as the same will go for you? Are you ready to spend a year plus in a dirt hole with it 120+ degrees while people you are trying to help are shooting shoulder mounted rockets at you? Are you ready to possible go through this entire scenario for many more years to come as this war over in that region is really just beginning IMO? Are you ready to be in situations that you never even dreamed of happening before and remaining cool and calm because other people are depending on you? If you answering yes to a lot of these questions then i would say go for it, if you are doing this for free college tuition i would say no and it would be a big mistake IMO for you to enlist. From the marines i know and who have served in a time of war, most times they want nothing to do with the recruits who joined up for the tuition money, i cant say first hand but this is what i have been told by a few marines who depend on their crew to be there when they need them and not some water under the ear recruit freaking out because he cant handle the situation and just wanted to join so he could have a easier financial time for college. If the tuition is only kind of the after thought then i would say also go for it, i only said what i said because from the mouths of other marines that i know, kids that join up for that reason only are usually a liability to themselves and worst to their entire crew.

And most of the time those are the kids you see that get drunk or race around and slide into some innocent person or a tree at 110mph because at 17 and not having paid a nickle for a 40 thousand dollar car how the heck do they learn to respect what they have? It's good to see CBS collectively pulled their heads out of their asses on this one, Jericho is without question Cbs's best drama series in at least the last 5+ years!
