  1. My wife (gf at the time) did that for me a couple of years ago at work. It was very cool. You've got yourself a keeper there!
  2. Check out this prank. Be sure to scroll down a bit and click on part 2! http://www.gadling.com/2008/02/01/best-pra...entral-station/
  3. Yeah, then everyone on the road could say, "WOW! Look at all of those SS's out in front of those SRT10's. Those Dodges must be sloooooow!"
  4. Less of a hatred for me and more of a jealousy! I love bagged trucks and I would do mine in a heartbeat if I could...Damn AWD!!!
  5. How much for the Bow Tie???
  6. It's scary, but some of our tech guys just might go for that! I'm not worried about either of my drive shafts but the rules say that if you go as quick as you do, you MUST have one.
  7. No need to worry until you hear something!
  8. At least get the Pacesetters if you are afraid of the OBX system as I was! You said swell...that should be your first clue!
  9. I dig the truck, especially the custom tubing in the pics added by Dylan. I simply was saying that he possibly is lacking something in the junk department and that was just a joke. Please Dylan, don't post any pics of that!
  10. I already told you how to play that one! Just run it to 1000 ft. on every pass but the last one. You can always get your slip before you get kicked out! Unfortunately, due to insurance regulations, the do have to kick you out after you go that fast. Try to at least borrow a racing jacket before you run so the only thing they can haze you about is the roll bar. You may also want to add a drive shaft loop. Those are pretty cheap and easy and I'd hate to see you not get through tech because of that.
  11. Only you can know if there is a harness under the seat so get under their and look! Seriously though, I doubt their is a harness in there for nothing. I think you could probably by a harness and wire it up. If you want a passenger seat and the back seat, let me know and I'll see how much shipping is. Good luck!
  12. I understand. My wife's hoopdy is in the shop as we speak and mine, generally, barely runs!
  13. Again, I think you should be fine. If a hose did blow and wet the engine, something could have gotten wet (sensor, connector, etc.) which could have prevented it from starting.
  14. I would think it will be fine. I'm not sure why it isn't starting. That is the only thing that worries me. Will it not turn over at all or just not start? If it isn't turning over then something may have siezed. If it is trying to start and just won't then I think it will be fine after some repairs. Let's hope nothing catastrophic happened! Good luck!
  15. I can't answer for the pcm but in my nissan, the same thing happened when my water pump took a dump and it is fine now. How long did you guys drive it hot?
  16. Sounds like she blew a hose or the T-stat is sticking. Was the engine wet? Did it smell like coolant?

I guess you're right. Tranny upgrades and a big converter really make a huge difference.

Welcome to the 13's! I would think you would be quicker with your cam and other mods. Did you spin off the line?
  19. I always say that guys with trucks like that are over compensating for a lack of something else!
  20. I'll be there most likely announcing you guys as you go down the track. I will be sure to throw out some screen names if I end up announcing that day. I would bring the truck but I don't really need any testing right now. Last race out, the truck ran outstanding.
  21. Looks like it's time for me to start saving for my next drag car!
  22. Sorry to hear about your loss Jose. My prayers are with you and your family.
  23. Well, I didn't win but I didn't lose either. We ran out of daylight and then it was rained out on Sunday so the race will finish on April 12th. I am in the 4th round of 7 total (about 13-16 cars left).
