    New 1/4 Mile Time

    I have sex for a living.........uh, wait a sec.
  2. Besides Outlaw, the others are contingency stickers that only pay when you win or runner-up otherwise they don't do a damn thing!
  3. Are any tuning changes required for this? Does a tuned truck with no screen accomplish the same goal?
  4. I would like some REALLY light weight 6 lug wheels. That would be swell! I'd also like a carbon fiber cowl induction hood and last, but not least, a couple of sponsor for my racing!
  5. Thanks for all of the insight everyone. I have a Chilton Manual and I read it cover to cover. I finally broke down and took her to a shop. The diagnosis: Leaking fuel injectors so air was getting into the system and my EGR valve is missing. They replaced the injectors but, even though it is a California car, there wasn't any wiring for the EGR so I can't have one. The spot for it in the motor had been plugged by someone. The codes were for the EGR and the injectors. $300 later, and I'm getting 24 mpg again with no SES lights!
  6. You are most welcome and thank you for the publicity and support! I'm glad to hear it got there ok.
  7. Oops, I forgot about that! I agree with the electric trailer brakes. I have surge brakes on my trailer that I tow with my motor home and let's just say that stopping is a gamble when I tow!
  8. Lookin' good! I sure wish they had silver in 2003!
  9. Shouldn't be a problem if the total load isn't over 7500 pounds. 06VHO (a member here) tows and enclosed with a race car in it with no problems.
  10. If that doesn't work, change your o2 sensors.

    02 Sensors

I got my Denso's at Jegs but they are not a direct replacement. You have to cut the plugs from the old ones and splice them into the new ones. Reall a very easy project and worth the trouble as I hear that Denso's tend to hold up better to higher octane fuel and additives. Here is the link. I can get them a little bit cheaper than that price too.
  12. I thought I replied! I'm sorry, I was getting a lot of pm's regarding the shirts. I'm sorry, as of now I don't have one but I'll see what I can do. I'll keep you informed.
  13. Is it is possible to move the IAT sensor to a remote location? I am not FI but I am interested in moving it to improve racing consistency. Is it possible to maybe move it to a location such as in front of the radiator so it gets cool air while going down the track? TIA...

    Window Fix?

I just leave mine up most of the time!

Congrats! I am changing to smaller and lighter wheels soon as well. I believe you need to tweek the shift points a little bit since the gearing will change with the shorter set-up. See my sig...you don't need a cam to hit the 13's...once!
  16. Me too...Shit, I hope I didn't send the wrong one!
  17. For those of you that ordered, I sent them out today at 4 pm PST. You should see them no later than the end of the week. Thanks again for the support and I hope they bring you good luck at your track!
  18. That's a good start but if you're planning a lot of power, contact Mr. P or 04CHASE. They are both expert tranny breakers and can tell you just about every weak link and how to fix it. Good luck!
  19. CRAZY! I've seen that truck but I can't remember where. I want to say it was in Vegas in the beginning of the month but I could be wrong. I know I saw that truck somewhere. AI remember the lame-ass license plate!
  20. Is that hood fiberglass? If so, I am interested if it falls out of escrow.
  21. There is THE tc to have and most would probably agree that it is a PI. My trans builder also seconded this when I bought a new converter. I had a TCI 2600 and it was great when I drove on the street everday. I have since converted my truck to a straight drag truck and I upgraded to the PI 9.5" 3200 stall. Let me tell you, the PI is one helluva converter but it costs nearly $1000. I am sure that the other brands (YANK, etc.) are great but I am only sharing my personal experience.
  22. The tbtc is a good option for the price but if you already have had one fail and your future plans include more power, I would just step up to the big leagues while you have the trans out of the truck. Just my opinion.
  23. I can't believe it...FINALLY 1000!!!!! It only took three years and minimal whoring! I must say, I am pretty proud. Enjoy the freebie everyone!
  24. The TCS is a great pieces too but as a satisfied PI customer, I'd say they are definitely worth the money, especially for a daily driver. The lock-up on the PI unit is second to none.
  25. That's great! I can't wait to have one of my own helping me in the garage!
