  2. Somebody didn't call me! Iwent late in the rounds at my race but I still could have made it. Oh well, next time I guess. Great turn out and pics!
  3. You're right. It's not as funny but more intelligent now. It is a lot better than when it was new.
  4. I used to until Adam Carolla came to mornings. Now I listen to his show mostly but I switch over to Kevin and Bean during commercials. I heard them talking about it this morning.
  5. Brow-Down Hilarious video from the Kevin and Bean show on KROQ.
  6. Thanks! Now I'm feeling all warm and fuzzy on this chilly California morning!
  7. I could be there earlier if I don't win my race but I have every intention in winning so we'll see!
  8. That's what I'm talkin' about!
  9. I read it right Big O. I would just take the TBSS personally. I love those things. Either way, it appears this person doesn't really have to pay for much so I would take the money and the newer car since it's free money in the long run.
  10. I love my truck but, 5k plus a faster and newer TBSS? What is the question here??? Go for the TBSS!!! Just my .02
  11. I can meet up somewhere without the truck sometime after 6 when the racing is done for the day. Let me know.
  12. I've had nothing but great luck with my PI and I love it. If I had the coin, I would buy yours as a back-up just in case. Free bump for a great converter.
  13. Get crackin' then buddy! I'm in no hurry!
  14. Using that hole with some sort of ram air has to be worth something and better than just a huge hole in the bottom of the box. I went to Autozone and bought a flexible tube and adapted it with a plumbing coupling from the hardware store to my Outlaw. I then routed it to the passenger side brake duct. It works great and stays out of the way.
  15. I still want my cowl hood Art!
  16. Congrats! Nothing better than having a beater you can drive the piss out of and park any where without worrying about it!
  17. Damn, wish I could be there guys. I won't be far away though. It's my first points race of the season out at Fontana. You guys should all cruise out when your done with the BJs. It's only $10 to get in.
  18. Forget the 500, let's talk the Winternationals! (That's drag racing for all of you stick and ball types)
  19. Welcome aboard and congrats! I am down in RSM quite a bit so maybe I will see you around sometime. Hope to see you at the track with that thing sometime too!
  20. As the resident drag racer here, I guess I should chime in. As already stated, reaction time does nothing for elapsed time (ET). Stage as shallow as you can for a quicker ET. Stall only as high as you can before you start driving through the brakes. Stalling to 2800-3000 with a stock converter might be a little over zealous. You should be able to hold the brakes till about 2000 rpm. With an AWD truck, stalling it up before launch is your best bet. I would just leave it in drive and not worry about 3rd. If your truck shifts into overdrive in the quater mile, you have a gearing problem! I just leave mine in drive and I am well done with my pass before it would even think about shifting into 4th. Good luck!
  21. Horrible Steve. No respect for the dead! That was nice of you to share your personal DVD collection with all of us!
  22. That's right, the title is correct. I said bests with an S. Started on Saturday right off the trailer without even sitting in it for 2 months...13.898 @ 94.65!!! Great right? I thought there must have been one hell of a tail wind. I get back to my pit and my flags are limp. Next pas goes 13.907. Slower but at least she's consistent. As the day went on, I kept getting faster and faster but no best because I was lifting before the finish (bracket racing). On my las run of the day, I lifted at the finish and ran 13.866. My computer figured nthat I would run 13.80!!! Woohoo but I didn't actually run it so no best there either. Sunday comes and I red light in the 2nd round...13.850 @ 95.07! Now I have my best. If only it were the day before when it was cooler and the air was better. Oh well, the 13.85 will have to do for now. I will post the time slip when I figure out the scanner.
