  1. a 10' sub can out perform a 12' sub. The problem with 10's or 8's is they can not reproduce the bass a 12' sub can. I had two MTX 10's and they sounded great but the other 12's I've had seem to produce deeper bass and I missed that. That's why I've been thinking of going with some shallow mount 12's.It's all about what you like. I know people who have had 8's that love them. It's all about what you like and making sure the box and amp fits the specs of your sub. a great sub in a bad box and cheap amp is a waste IMO. Do it right or expect it to fail your expectations.
  2. Welcome to the site. If you add some to you price you can have mine lol check the for sale section
  3. don't forget front diff problems. I thought my front diff was having the known growl issue at 50K miles but I might have been wrong. still going strong at 92K and probably close to 40K of those are super charged miles
  4. i'll take one. I've been slacking a lot or I would already be over 5K also
  5. No it's been tuned by Zippy. I have the HP Tuners software so he sends me updated via email. The cable and software is included with the sale and I have only used one license($500-$700 value) I've got the stock hood & headers. I used to have the intake but sold it. I've also got the stock spindles. I let my nephew have the stock wheels so they are gone. I can take some interior pics. It's in good shape. I have the 3 pod pillar that hold my boost, fuel pressure and AFR gauges.
  6. nice. I'd think about doing this if I wasn't trying to sell her lol
  7. funny stuff. this song is on the "family guy" episode. funny stuff....need more pics of M. Fox please!!!
  8. don't you like how gas stations raised the interval between grades to $0.12 now instead of $0.10? I won't be happy till prices stay in the low $2 range for 10 years lol
  9. bump TTT I'd like to pay off my debt and save up for my dream car guys. Help a brother out
  10. gas/oil prices are too high IMO. The value of the dollar is part of the problem. Supply and demand have little to do with the price anymore. It's all based on BS stuff like what stupid worthless people think. Demand is down and the economy is going to stay down as long as the price of oil/gas is high. More and more business will move out of the US and jobs will continue to go bye-bye. Shit just cost too much these days because the price of oil has pushed prices up.
  11. both good shows. It's not Jays fault, NBC messed up. They have to move Jay because his show isn't doing well in it's time slot so affiliates(sp?) are pretty mad. Jay's show will be back up in ratings when it's back in his old time slot and Conan will go to another network as he should. NBc really screwed him so they should pay out the @ss. I like conan jokes better than Jay. I've never really liked him that much.
  12. great price for a low milage ss. good luck with the sale
  13. Aug. 2009 TOTM!! Once again I'm thinking of selling my toy and moving onto another project. Please see the updated price and miles. I've only put about 8,000 miles on her since I listed her for sale back in March 2009. I'll post pics sooner or later or you can just look in my garage. Please don't post stuff like it's over priced, I've seen the same cheaper on eBay. I don't really care. I'm listing it at a fair price IMO and I'm just testing the waters. I don't have to sell her. Just thinking about moving on to another project. I've owned her since day 1. Price $21,495 OBO New Price $17,495 obo Mileage 92,700 Body Style: AWD Truck Exterior Color: Blue Interior Color: Charcoal Engine 8 Cylinder Gasoline Transmission Automatic Drive Type: AWD Fuel Type Gasoline VIN 2GCEK19N031338897 The price is $21,495 OBO. I ve decided to move onto a new project so I m selling my pride and joy. The SS is not a daily driver. She spent her first 3 years in my garage and driven on weekends and to work every so often. I still don t drive her daily. All maintenance has been done to keep her driving like new. Even the paint is like new. 1 Owner Super Charged 2003 Silverado SS all-wheel-drive(AWD). I bought this new and left it stock till I ran out of warranty. Then I took my time to modify this truck to be truly one of a kind. There were only a little over 1,000 Blue SS's produced in 2003 and even fewer in 2004. After that, GM stopped making the SS in blue. The sticker price was over $41,000. The truck is loaded with 8 way power/heated leather seats, 6 disc CD changer, power everything, Onstar(not active) and tow package. The mod list is below and I have over $12,000 in parts. I have taken it to Clay City to run it in the 1/4 mile. The best 1/4 mile time is 12.77 at 105 mph. This truck is fast enough to run with almost any car on the road including Corvettes. Mods: Magnacharger Radix Super Charger with 3.0 pulley, Boost & Fuel Pressure Phantom II gauges, Innovate lc-1 Wideband gauge kit, Tru-Cool trans cooler, Outlaw Cold Air Intake for Radix, Volant ram air scoop, 160 degree stat, magnecore plug wires, colder plugs for super charger, flopro dual in/out muffler, dynatech headers & cats, 145 amp alternator upgrade, zippy shift kit, servos, 2500 stall torque converter(TBTC), Eagle Alloy 22" 026 rims wrapped in Kumho 305/40/22 tires, Belltech 2" drop spindles and shackles, drop shocks all the way around, Goodmark Cowl hood with ram air and tuned by Zippy, Cleared Headlights, Bed cover, Bed mat, 5 piece chrome speed grille for SS, SS bowtie, I will also include the software used to tune the truck via the ODB port(HP Tuners). The software includes the cable to upload a tune from you laptop. I also have all the stock part in case you want them. Non-smoker Pic1 Pic2 Pic3
  14. for that price you can get one with fairly low miles I would guess. I've got mine listed for less but my miles and too high and she's far from stock lol
  15. Back to the top. I've decided to see if I can sell my toy and maybe move onto another project. New price and miles are listed in the first post. I still have the ISS wing that I haven't installed. It goes with the truck unless I sell it. I also still have the supercharged emblems I purchased long ago. These are teh good kind not cheap ebay ones. Over $14K invested in this super charged head turner. I still get looks and questions all the time. Every time I taker her for an oil change, they ask a million quetions and compliment the truck. She's a head turner and could be a show winner, I just never entered her into any shows. PM if you have any questions.
  16. i've also got one with most of the mounting hardware(needs 1 bracket). pm if interested. I haven't done anything new to the truck in a long time and I don't plan to. I think I'm done. I keep thinking about selling her and getting a used Z06
  17. they are for the right price. might want to clear up if tires or included or not. it sounded like 1 great tire, 1 really used tire and 2 tires that might not air up are included. rims themself perfect fetch around $900. Used rims with damage or chipping will not get as much but still could get around $700.
  18. I've got one I thought about selling. I bought it when we had a GP last year but haven't put it on yet. I bought all the hardware and made one bracket. I kind of lost interest plus I had to mess with my jet ski a lot. PM if you're interested.
  19. Got one for the washer/dryer last year and glad I did. Washer is leaking a little bit for no reason at all. I've got to run to hhgregg when I get some free time.
  20. web sites are pretty cheap. I've had one for years for my business so people can pay by CC. Seach the web for prices and a place to host it. We bsite design isn't bad, it's the shopping carts that get me. Good luck on your new business. If you haven't started a LLC I sugesst do that ASAP because there are a ton of stuff that can be written off when tax times comes.
  21. I've got to take my centerlines off and sand some spots out and polish the crap out of them. I keep thinking about adding some subs/amp but still not decided yet. I think I'm going to sale the ISS spoiler. I just don't feel like doing the mod anymore. Probably going to drop $2-$3k on a atv for summer fun.
  22. shifting is fine with me. I've rode dirtbikes a lot growing up and have also rode atvs. My family seems to love them, even my mom had one lol. Now one of my cousin has it. My other cousin has a Honda Rancher 2WD(350 model I think). So I should look at 4X4's? What about kfx models? I've seen a 2006 400 model listed on craigslist for like $2,300
  23. Well I guess I'd like something easy to work on like a 4 stroke. I don't want to rip into the engine ever so many hours. My buddy grew up on 2 strokes and he can work on them but I don't want to. I'd like something to ride and put up and not worry about it. I don't think I'll be riding in deep mud so I guess 2Wd is the way to go. I'm not going to be carring stuff/hunting or anything like that but I'm not wanting to outrun my truck either lol. So it doesn't have to go 70+. What brands are the 4 strokes and what do you guys recommend based on the this post?
  24. I've pretty much decided to buy an ATV this summer for some riding in the mud. I'm looking at buying a used ATV and I wanted your guys opinions. First I figure I'd spend around $3K on a used model. What brand/model should I be looking at? What's reliable and what's crap and won't last? my cousin has a 2 WD but should I look at getting a 4 WD? What engine size will be the best for having fun on in the mud and woods? I don't have a clue what size would be best for me. I see 250's, 350's, 400's and bigger models(600+) and I have no clue what I would really need. What brand/model is very reliable and easy to fix if I brake it? I'm a DIY guy and work on everything and anything. I got a jet ski last year and I'm even learning to wok on it. Fun stuff to learn something new. Let me know what you ATV gusy think. Thanks, Jeremy
