  1. Ok. Windows 7 seems to have a bug. The cursor wants to jump around for no reason. I did read about this online. Apparently there is some Windows update that is causing this problem. My problem is the laptop is brand new so there is no way to remove whatever update came on the laptop. Any IT gurus know how to fix this problem? It's driving me crazy. The cursor will jump to the left 2 to 3 inches when I go to move it. It does this 2 or 3 times in a row every 5 mins or so. IT IS DRIVING ME CRAZYYYYYYYY!!! Any help would be great
  2. cd's could have slipped out of track. If it's fried i would open it up and get your cds back. You can buy a used one on eBay.
  3. not going to waste my time. they will back out and get away with it. eBay sucks @ss
  4. Still looking around. My cousin let me know he is going to trade in his Jeep Cherokee Limited. i know everybody has said they are crap but he was saying a couple dealerships offered him $5,500 and $6,500 as a trade-in. It's loaded and has the V8(whimpy v8 but oh well). I'm going to check it out Friday if we play ball. He said he'd take $5,500 for it and that's a lot better than $8,500($9,300 TTL) they want for the Buick Rainier. it's ok but smells like @ss haha. Carpet wasn't in good shape either plus it was one of those small @ss used car lots with lots of crappy cars so I'm worried about it a bit. Guy said he doesn't know if the front diff was serviced and it has 90K miles. The Jeep does have 114K but KBB has the private party value around what he wants and all the used ones I found sell for at least $7,500 or more. My cousin takes care of his cars/trucks and usually has them for 7+ years. The less I spend now the more I have saved for the vette, so I'm thinking of just something to pull the jet ski.
  5. turn this thread into a good pic thread
  6. I've been searching on 2001-2005 Trailblazers/Envoys/Buick Rainier(leather). I did search for 2001-2004 Tahoe/Yukon(leather) but they seem to be more than I want to spend. I'd really like to keep the price under $10K, so I searched some older 1995-1999 Tahoes. You'd be surprised the prices I see on them with many many miles lol i did find one on craigslist with 99K miles for under $5K which seems to be good. No leather but I've thought about spending less for an older model. I'll mainly use this to drive around town and tow my jet ski and put maybe 10K miles on it per year. Going to save up some for a vette later.
  7. I'm on kyhorsepower.com also, same user name. It's a good site and a local car/truck place. good luck in finding a garage in Lexington big enough to park your SS. Houses around here seem to have a small garage unless it's an older house.
  8. Happened once in college. Girl driving me home had a drink, she was under 21(thought she was older) and speeding. She got DUI and I got a PI. It's my buddy's fault. He wouldn't let me ride with him and the girls friend back to college. We had to drive 60 miles to hit the party towns. I was drunk off my ass but was just getting a ride home. Girl was fugly lol Staying in the drunk tank all night and left the next day. I can't remember the cost of the fine. Wasn't much. Good times
  9. I'm still here, just don't post much anymore. Sold the truck a few weeks ago. It was fun and I never expected to mod it like I did but it was fun and costly $$$$$ lol Yenko post maily on our local car club(kyhorsepower.com). I've been to a few track meets with that group. I've got plans for other toys but maybe someday I'll buy another SS. I put 93K miles on mine and had a lot of fun with her but really need a 4 door SUV so no need to have 3 vehicles.
  10. yeah, I've been checking out eBay, autotrader, cars.com and craigslist. The tahoes/yukons are in the 13k range and even with those they are high milers. Seems like the prices on them went up in the past couple weeks. I might offer $8,000 on the Buick Rainier. I asked about a cash price and they told me $8,500. Add in tax, title license and price is $9,300. I'd probably give $8,800 out the door. They've had the suv for many months and they guy said many people don't know about them. They can't keep trailblazers in stock but the buick has been there for awhile. It's in pretty good shape. has some scratches and the inside doesn't smell the best. They say the tires are 60% but I think they are worse than that. That'll be $500+ to repalce all 4. Not sure how to get rid of the smell. Maybe I can detail the hell out of it or replace the carpet.
  11. Thanks Dan. Yeah the ones I bookmarked have all been sold so these are very hard to find in my price range without a ton of miles. I think I'm going to see if I can get the buick rainier for a litle lower price. I asked how much they would take for it cash and they said $8,500. add in tax, license and all the other fees and it's $9,299 to get it on the road. It's got the samwe v8 at the tahoe & silverado(5.3) so it can tow more and has good power.
  12. So far all the Trailblazers I find on the web are priced close to 12k for the options I want(leather seats, 6 disc cd changer, 4WD, fog lights and sunroof). I did fine a decent Buick Rainier with the V8. Let me know what u guys think: 2004 Buick Rainier AWD Loaded
  13. ha good one. I also thought u got rid of the SS. nice truck.
  14. wow so ur camaro has close to what ur Z06 dynoed at? makes me think more about getting a camaro next instead of Z06. It'd be nice to have more than 2 seats also. wonder if you can get those kind of gains on a Z06 with the same mods? good info
  15. SS tail lights are the same as the regular silverado. Should be able to find them on eBay.
  16. I'd talk to the last owner and make sure I knew what mods were done.
  17. I think those have the LQ9 in them. Still the LQ4 can be a 11 second motor in a Silverado.
  18. My trans only had the zippy shift kit/servos deal plus a TBTC and she was still running strong at 93k miles when I sold her. I'd say close to 40k of those were boosted miles most with the 3.0 pulley(7 lbs of boost). I think zippys tuning helped her last so long and I also had track runs on her plus the normal driving with a radix
  19. nice car but way too many miles for that price.
  20. That's a good one. I'll have to send it out tomorrow haha
  21. Well then hook a brother up. I need a 25 yr old to make me feel young haha
  22. yeah that's a concept truck and package put together by some company/business. I personally don't know of anybody else doing something like that but I also haven't searched on that. I'd say best bet would be to search the web and ask a few online truck/car groups. I'd post this on pt.net. Good luck on your search
