I hat eseeing these threads. these trucks are just too easy to break into. There is a way to avoide this. Somebody posted a couple things that will stop people from poping the locks. Search for the thread. I would suggest these upgrades for anybody. I think there is a plate for the locks and one for the hood latch. Anybody got the link to the thread I'm talking about. If I kept my SS I would have doen these upgrades because I don't trust people

I think I went shorter in the front but kept stock height shocks in the back. 2 inch drop realy isn't that much in the back but I liked the way it looked.

Had one of those but it went with the truck. I never did any tuning myself. But it was a great tool to have

dynatech headers are a true bolt-on mod. I got some used many years ago and ran them. One of my first mods and they did bolt-on. I like things that don't require a lot of fab. It makes my work easier and fun. There is a knock-off brand on eBay. Same headers as the old dynatech design but for a lot less. I forgot their name but someone will know. If you get those you'll need some spark plug wires to go around the crazy driver side header tube. A member off here sent me a couple he had and they worked great.

The site has changed over time as have the members. I've posted on general things from gas prices to the birth of my daughter. I've also replied to political post and those kind of post get out of control quick. I understnad why the mods close those threads and when you act like a child you get treated like one. So if you want to act like a 3 year old, prepare to get treated like one. I've probably lost my temper over things, but I get over it. I'm not on here that much anymore but that's because I sold my SS. I never modded a vehicle before so this site was a great help in that aspect. I learned a lot and met a lot of people. I rarely see the old guys who I use to bug with stupid questions. That's part of life. We can't mod these trucks forever. I've had my fun with mine so I've moved on, but I still try to check the site some. I'm not here for the drama. I like to help if I can and post with old friends, so lets get over the "drama" and move on

I had the TBTC in mine and it was great for the price, but you can't tow as much. I only pulled a jet ski so that worked for me. I spent like $150 for the TBTC.

I wouldn't worry about it. Workers at those stores don't seem to be the brightest light bulb in the box haha Add a hood like mine had and people will be scared of you.

I cheked out my cousins Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited last night and I'm going to buy it. The inside was is great shape and it'll be good for what I want. It's loaded out with leather heated seats, heated mirrors, cd player with 6 disc changer, sun roof, V8 and tow package. He's taken really good care of it and only wanted $5,500 for it. It's got 114K miles which isn't bad. he's going to drive to my house next Saturday so I'll post pics then. Any other Jeep Limited on the web was at least $7,500 in crappy shape(body damage with more miles). He sold it to me for what the dealer was going to give him if he traded it in. A dealer would list this Jeep for $8,500+ easy based off the others I've seen listed. The leather is in great shape and it's never been smoked in so I think I got a good deal. As long as it last a couple years I'll be happy, plus spending less now = more cash saved now for a Z06 vette. Pics coming next week

Upgrading probably saved you. I would watch what windows update you load. From the one article I found it sounds as if some window update is causing the problem and people can restore their laptop to before the update. My problem is I can't do that. What ever is causing the problem came with my laptop so I'm screwed until I find an answer.

wow. I'd freak out and ask if he wanted to buy them for an even 1 million haha
