How To Repalce The Interior Door Bulb
NebraSSka truck replied to NebraSSka truck's topic in General SS
Thanks guys! -
I am talking about the interior courtesy light on the bottom of the door. I tried prying on the cover but it won't budge without doing damage to the lens. I tried removing the pocket on the lower half of the door to see of I could access the bulb. -Can't get this out either. The only other alternative I see is to remove the door panel. What a pain in the a$$ to replace one exipred bulb. Has anyone ran into this dilemma as well? Is there an easier way that I am overlooking?

Colorado doesn't use salt on their roads. They use sand. (And they won't even lay that down unless it's really $hitty). I'm in Colorado all the time and never encountered salty roads. The Nebraska roads are another story...

Ive seen an 05 SS with cloth seats as well. It doesn't appear to be a popular choice though.

Sounds and looks wicked! The dual SS tips are a nice touch.

Just checking to see how the 2009 calender is coming along. I don't see any recent news. I'm anxious to see who made the cut and wondering if one will be hanging at my desk at work come January 1st! Anybody heard anything?

How Many Guys Drive Their Sss Im The Snowy Months?
NebraSSka truck replied to mike1booth's topic in General SS
I agree, just get some wheels equipped with some good winter tires. The factory Goodyears are espeacially not good in the winter, at least not for a Nebraska winter. I pass Z71s all day long with these ugly, nobby-a$$ things on! Of course, you will need a AWD SS for this to happen. -
Nice photos! Noticed you had BFG tires on the SS. I was pretty sure these didn't come the stock tire size. What size are they??

I'd swim in that!

Sure do!! Highly reccommend it. Although, I got a fairly good deal on a group purchase from Tbyrne Motorsports when they were still in business. (just over $600) I believe the retail price is a little over $1,000 now. Pricey but a far superior exhaust system in my opinion. There is a few other members with the same setup, I'm sure there was a sound clip somewhere. If nobody chimes in I will get you one. Sounds pretty close the the vid on B&B website. -Alot deeper tone than the Corsa.

Has any one experienced a little extra door rattle, ect. with their doors? Mine seems to be coming from the drivers side, probably because it sees the most use. What has everyone done to fix this problem? Also notice the passenger side door closes alot nicer. Im thinking this is an alignment/sagging door issue or a worn striker bolt??? Anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Looks alot better than what I had... I routinely pay omage to the art of traditional Candian fare. Last night it was a bullhead and a case of Molson. All that was missing was a side of river otter. Happy cooking!

Rear Spoiler Installed
NebraSSka truck replied to AUTOGUY's topic in Appearance, Cleaning, & Detailing
I love it! Where did you find that on Ebay, if you dont mind me asking? What type of hardware did you use to mount it? Did you have to drill holes? That looks great. Love your other rides as well. P.S. Thanks for the hockey stripes. I love those as well. -
Welcome!

Behind the taillight? Would you have to remove the tail-light at each fill up? Sounds like a pain in the a$$! You must not fill up that often! At the rate mine uses gas, I'll keep it where it's handy. Not sure if this is feasible, but I wish you luck!

I think this is the same guy who posted the Rod Stewart video last week... I hope you keep your windows closed while driving to this sh*t!

Conrats! This is one of my favorite trucks on the site. I'm glad I got to see it in person. The win could not have gone to a more deserving candidate, he's a great friend. Nice work Chris!
