  1. I only know of bleach and water. Not sure I would put that on the interior for too long it may bleach out the colors on older Vinyl? Check a product like Tilex and see what they say for warnings on the back. Good luck I dont think Mold will ever go away unless you use Chlorine Bleach.
  2. Did anyone else notice that the Women always are attracted to Donzi Boats ? I moved near Lake George/Lake Champlain 4 years ago and I told myself I was going to get one about 3 years ago and still didnt do it. This really pisses me off:banghead: Looks like fun maybe I should plan a trip out to the Ohio next year? Thanks for the pics. The portable striper pole is hillarious!!
  3. What is this??? The link is not working for me.
  4. Do we FLUSH now? That thing looks like Crap!! The MonteCarlo "SS" is not even close to matching our "55" and who can afford a $40k truck and cannot afford to paint match the mudguards/bug deflector?? I have a whole new respect for all you guys on here now after not doing what this person did. ~Barney
  5. Think you might be on to something there Ben. I did notice a difference but not like the truck is faster or slower. I just noticed a different feel. "Show a picture of what you did" I just took off the stock pvc with just a hole in it and put the new one in the rubber gromet. It is located under the Engine cover at the back driverside valve cover. Takes about 5 minutes to change and thats unscrewing the cover. Barney
  6. I was worried about the threat of oil consumption and sludge in the intake so I put a Fram FV391 PVC valve in the ss. I noticed a smoother engine under WOT. Has anyone else had similar results? I dont know if it is just me or are these results typical . The truck still runs great just seems to be working less at speed. The part has the rattle spring in it and was only $2.47 at Walmart. I thought it was a good Idea but could there be any bad issues with this change? Thanks for the help. ~Barney
  7. Giovanna Genoas look the best lots of air between the spokes. Great to show off the Baers or Brembos. I voted for you thats the next mod.
  8. I have an '03 aswell here is what I was told would do the job and help the braking. Earl's 5-line replacement braided brake lines (part# 28A640), ATE Super Blue Racing brake fluid, Hawk pads (HB323F.724-Front, HB385F.640-Rear).
  9. I Kayak all the time. I have had mixed experience with the boats and the truck. Touring Boats If you go with a big touring boat you will not be able to use just the bed. I had some troubles moving a friends 17' boat. I got something like truck extender that goes into the tow receiver to help with the load and keep the Cover on the back. Short Recreation Boats When it comes to the shorter boats any thing under 12' stays in the truck with the tailgate down just fine. Whitewater Boats Depending on your age and the type of water around your home. The white waterboats are fun. I have a Dagger RPM for going fast downstream. It fits under the cover with the tailgat up. If youare a big person you might not like these small boats. Sit on tops Dont waste your money on one of these!!!!
  10. Damn, I think I am reasonably smart and that took some thinking. I love games like that. Where on earth did you find that? Are there any more? Thanks that was my fun for the night!
  11. She needs some Copper Jacketed "Help" if you ask me!!!!
  12. I see a windshield wiper cowel in the photos is that for sale or just a misplaced pic?
  13. From what I have been reading the 6.2 is going to be all aluminium so it should not be as heavy as our Iron blocks. Secondly they are putting a 6 speed in the Cadi's with an "electronic tip tronic" shift so you can pretend to be in an indy car and paddle shift. It also has 2 overdrive gears. I think with that it should get better gas millage then current stock sss.
  14. JonMalibuss, Thanks a ton. Mine has loosened up this week and I knew someone would figure out what was going on. I am thankful for the forum on matters like this!!!!! Barney
  15. Can you get more details on this gearbox? I would like to change that out if its a simple GM part we can all get ahold of. Is yours still under warranty or how much did this upgrade cost you?
  16. I like the cover but think it would be great in matching red paint. The bedrug is great. I wish I had one again.
  17. Les Brown, Is there any chance of a GP on Swaybars with your company? I tried to use your website but looks like you are still constructing that. I would like either a Hotchkis or Fredirico set up but alway looking to save $. Thanks feel free to PM me back on that matter.
  18. Check out the HRE wheels at TByrne. They are 3 Piece Forged very light and some look sharp, But not very cheap!
  19. I guess I dont really have a good point other than he already has the Whipple supercharger so he could just upgrade with matching injectors. I honestly dont know much about the fuel requirements of the SC. But I have been wanting to get one and just added the the info that Whipple is Putting out on their website. What suggestions would you offer up?
  20. Yes it works great on the water spots. I never thought about visiting the glass shop. Thats good info and so obvious NOW! Thanks for teaching me a new trick.
  21. Wow no opinions on this at all? I fixed the link the old auction must have closed. I would like the Corvette Covers similar to how the SRT-10 has the Viper Engine Covers.
  22. Whipple has some 143lbs/hr injectors!!!! Thats a ton of fuel in the cylinders.
  23. First off let me say I am no DYLAN when it comes to detailing. With that said my trick to have your glass disapear is odd but very effective. First, clean the windows with any windex, glass cleaner you want even soap and water is going to work. Second, use "Barkeeper's Friend" and old news papers to clean the window a second time. Barkeepers Friend is a very mild cleanser that is used to polish glassware. It is available in most grociery stores and best of all its cheeaaapp, Under $3. The newspaper is another trick which in its own can polish the glass nicely with windex alone. Its slightly abrasive and cleans all the oil and road grime off. Finally, Wipe with a microfiber cloth to get rid of any lint in the corners of the glass. I have had two friends leave forhead prints on the sidewindows as they leaned to look out the truck only to hit the glass and say "Damn I Didnt see it and thought the window was down" best of all this is a really cheap way. Old Newpaper is practiaclly free and the Barkeepers Friend is very affordable.

    Motor oil

Oil weight or thickness is measured in two methods. Cold weight and Hot weight. The first number is cold weight and the Hot subsequently. Take the 0W40 the zero implies that the oil is the weight of water O when cold which is very thin. The 40 implies that when Hot the oil is 40 times as thick as liquid water. I Hope I have that all right in symplified terms. I agree that the 0W30 is a great oil but I normally use it in the winter time. The thinner cold weight is easier for the engine to turn over. But I live an hour from Canada in New York State so a typical February can get to -15 at night!!!
  25. I noticed a set of Corvette Valve/Engine covers on Ebay. Will they fit on our trucks if you take the others off? I think this would be a nice trend to start up. new link
