  1. What have you heard about the Roush Mustangs? Warranty issues? We're waiting until the SVT GT500 comes out before making our final decision between the Roush, the Saleen, or the SVT. BTW, the Roush comes in Stage I, Stage II, or Stage III with about the same levels of trim and HP as the Saleens do...
  2. Actually it's not bad at all. I shipped mine DHL Ground to Texas from Iowa and it was only $19.06 for the bumper with the bumper cover still attached, then $4-something for a separate box with the brackets/hardware in it. I used the box that my roll pan came in and just used plastic strapping bands to keep it tight.
  3. I have a set that I've been thinking about getting rid of. PM me or email me at work at [email protected] and we'll talk.
  4. You killed a sunshell on your truck too? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I thought that I had always heard about the "Beast" sunshell being weaker than the GM piece. Is this not true? I remember reading to not go with the aftermarket 4 or 5 planet versions on all of the thirdgen.org posts (700R4 related) and the Cy-Ty boards (also 700R4) because the 5 planet GM piece was stronger. Am I even thinking of the right part???
  5. Ohh, you're close on that one... I think it should be just SSimulated though. That truck does look nice in red!
  6. One question... Why are you going with "The Beast" Sun shell? The GM one is better/stronger. Your friend Zippy should have told you that... I put a GM updated one in my old 700R4 after breaking the stock one, then a "Beast"... Now, where's that part number...
  7. A common problem for newbies in the "How To" section is the page display properties down at the very bottom of the forum pages. Make sure it's set to "Display all" instead of "Last 30 days", "Last 60 days", or "Last 90 days". Otherwise you're limiting your results.
  8. Man, I hate him and his products right now... I'm... out... of... words...
  9. I was pretty sure the new Solstice/Sky performance versions were the same supercharged Ecotec's as in the current Redline Ion/Colbalt SS/etc. Is this not true???
  10. I like the SRT version, but the entry level versions are cheesy looking without all of the cool shiz...
  11. Use copy chrome from Caswell Plating http://www.caswellplating.com/kits/copychrome.htm You can electroplate any material (plastic, fiberglass, etc) using their special silva-spray spray paint here http://www.caswellplating.com/kits/silvaspray.html
  12. Several of the times I've seen it on T.V., I'd be willing to bet that the mechanic is just plain to lazy to do the work and not trying to go out and rip people off for money itself. I mean, if he's skimming money, he's skimming money and that needs to be dealt with separate from ripping off customers.
  13. Geesh, even on a cutting diet I have to eat more than that or my strength would fall through the floor (and I'd probably pass out!)!!! You must be a small frame girl, eh? For my cutting diet, I use something along the lines of the following: Almost nothing but carbs for breakfast (I have the whole day to burn them off): Huge bowl of cereal, something sugar coated too. It's not the best for me for weight loss, but this is what gets be going in the morning instead of having several cups of coffee or cans of pop. Perhaps add in a bannana or several strawberries. Snack: home made fruit smoothie. I took a blender to work and keep a bunch of fresh fruit that I freeze in the freezer (blue berries, strawberries, nanners, etc.) and just mix them in with some 1% milk in the blender. The cold fruit thickens it up to taste like a yougurt treat. Yummy! Lunch: Usually a double meat chicken breast salad from Subway, or a similar salad that I make myself. Today, I cooked 30 chicken breasts on the grill for the salads for this week to keep costs down. Snack: Some type of veggie, like carrot sticks, celery sticks, brocoli... Dinner: Any combination of soups (no crackers), chicken breasts (two large ones), Talapia fillets (it's fish), couple cans of tuna, another salad... Just about anything as long as it's fat free and very low to zero carbs... For bulking, I usually keep the meals about the same, but add more of it and add in a few (like 1-3) protein shakes a day (plus drink milk with every meal, = about 3-4 gallons a week). For a bulking lunch, a box of Deluxe Mac-n-cheese with a large can of tuna mixed in... That's over 2000 calories right there folks, in one sitting!!!
  14. My bad, it was toulene that I used (and what's used to make meth) not acetone...
  15. I've used it in the past to raise octane levels to avoid running racing gas in my old vette ('70 vette, 420" stroker small block, 12.25:1 compression). Now a days they will look at you funny when you buy more than one can because it can be used to make meth. I think you may even have to sign for it now like you do for cold pills at the drug store...
  16. Mix it in with the pre-workout protein shake and it'll kill the sickness feeling...
  17. Stock for stock, comparing the SSS to a Saleen isn't fair. The SSS makes more compromises for the masses. Now, compare it to a limited production number truck like a Gibbs Silverado and you've got a better comparison... I like the styling of the Saleen F-150 over the SSS or Gibbs, but for power and available options for the price, the Gibbs wins hands down.
  18. Nice work P! I've given my truck and wife's car the Meguire's #26 wax twice this year already and they look awsome... I'm going to try our next door neighbor's product for the next round though, called "Rick's Best" from http://www.prevettes.com to see if that's any good. His business cars are black and always look perfect sitting here in our parking lot...
  19. Like the title says, what have you guys done for license plate lighting on your Bser roll pans? Take the stock lights and make them work, or gone with aftermarket lights? Any pics?
  20. I did that one time, though not quite as cheap as that guy got away with... It was back when gas was 1.80 a gallon and someone put the decimal in the wrong place and I got it for 18 cents a gallon...
  21. 23 lbs with only 1% bf thats incredible! Since jan I gained about 18 lbs with like 3% bf lol. So you did something right. But our strength in sets is pretty much the same, EXCEPT SQUATS, I dread working out my legs so I usually skip out on them. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah, I took Superdrol for 3 weeks, then Ergomax for another 3 weeks (with thistle milk caps for liver protection) and saw weekly gains in strength and size while maintaining a low fat diet (though in mass quantities 5-6 meals a day). Then followed with proper PCT called Rebound XT and continued thistle milk caps. Now with the high reps and cardio (plus playing volleyball one night a week), I'm seeing the weight melt off. If I can get to single digit fat percent (or at least close) I'll feel pretty damn good. BTW, do the legs!!! It makes everything easier in daily life... I especially notice that pushing the lawn mower is much easier this year!!!
  22. Are you serious? Where the hell did you read that? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It's actually been on several alternative fuel source websites, and even CNN about genetically altered micro-organisms. In this case, it was yeast that were altered to be able to produce the ethanol more quickly from the source weeds/corn stalks/etc. In more than one case, they made a yeast that worked so well and so quickly, that it could kill live plants in their hunger for the sugar in the plants. If these were ever somehow introduced into the world, they could "kill" the soil by quickly eating what ever was trying to grow there... Growing genetically modified plants that produce more ethanol can "kill" the soil too... I'm glad these plant bio-techs are doing their job... I shudder to think what could really happen if a terrorist knew half of what these guys kill off in a lab for being to dangerous for the world...
  23. The last couple of updates I did for lifting have gotten some pretty good responses from this board. I've gained over 17-18 pounds of muscle since January with only one bulk cycle (gained 23 pounds total, and gained only 1% body fat gain to 17%). I'm now on a cutting cycle and doing high reps/cardio and am already down to 13% body fat and dropped almost 10 pounds in the last week and a half. I never knew I had the genes for this body building thing, otherwise I would have done it in my 20's when it could have really counted!!! Stats: Dead lift: 275/315/365/405 by 10/8/6/4 rep sets Bench: 185/225/245/245 by 10/8/6/4 rep sets Squat: 275/315/365/365 by 10/8/6/4 rep sets Those are my 3 favorite workouts on "heavy weeks", but now that I'm doing the lower weight/high rep, I like the lat pull downs the best. Every workout I do weights that I can barely reach 18-20 reps for 4 sets, then do cardio for 30-45 minutes on the eliptical. Feel the burn!!!!
  24. Speak for yourself; I live in a brick house <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You would still be without food like the rest of us goofy!
  25. Yup, that's what he's said in the past. Custom made and the CNC program got lost/corrupted and couldn't be reproduced.
