Yeah SCT was just released about two weeks ago and I should be receiving mine somtime next week. I'm curious to see what my truck can do with a good tune. That's somethign I think alot of the chevy and ford guys don't realize.. Since about two weeks ago we didn't have squat for tuning besides superchips, and yall know how much of a difference there is between a superchips canned tune and a real tune for yalls trucks. I'm hoping I can get down in the 12.6 range now, but who knows if it'll happen....

We shall see!! Allballz, you may be surprised at some of the times that are about to start turning up from the rams. I ran the times in my sig with less than 5k in performance mods N/A. Mods were longtubes, dual cutouts, CAI, comp268 cam, 3k stall, superchips canned tune, drag radials, and heads that I ported myself. That's the main things I"m leaving off small crap like plugs, t-stat, etc... Now that REAL custom tuning is available I'm very anxious to see what these motors are capable of. I ran that 12.9 with 26 degrees of timing and a A/F of 12.1:1 with a raceweight of 4580lbs. I'm just trying to be a inpartial participant.

I like lifted trucks just as much as the next guy, but I wouldn't do it to a SSS. Might as well jack up a WRX while your at it, they're AWD too.LOL I think it would look good, but if I was doing it I would just buy a 4x4 silvy and then make it look like a SSS.

My son was born on March 8th at 11:37pm, weighed 7 lbs 6 oz and was 20 1/4" long. Everyone's doing good so far. Im just at home for a few hours to get some much needed sleep. My uncle has one. I drove it when he first got it and its quick. IMO they're not fast at all from a stop, but from about 60mph and up they haul ass.

I don't see how any red blooded american can not love how that sounds. That's a big ass cam. I'm suprised it would even idle at 1000rpm;s.

I'm in Canton, which is about 45 minutes north of atl. Maybe I'll be able to get over there this year and try the track again. My first son is due the 12 of march, so I probaly won't be going to the track anytime real soon. Have you ever went to the street drags at atlanta motor speedway? I've been hearing good things about it and I may go try it out sometime too. There's no lights or times, they just line you up and have a spotter at the end. The top 3 out of each class gets a trophy, and from what I hear neither you or me would have a problem winning.

Let me know what you think about it with the new surface. I hope it hooks good now, cause its only about 1 hour from my house. The other 2 tracks I usually go to are 2.5-3 hours away.

I've went to Commerce a few times, But I'll never go back. Thats by far the worst track I"ve EVER been to. You'd think with the huge crowds they draw in that they could spend a couple of bucks and keep the track in decent condition.

I've got 4 285/50-20 Mastercraft Avenger ST tires that I need to sell. They've got right at 9k miles on them, with no noticable amount of tread gone. They suprisingly hook up well for a street tire. I really like these tires but, I'm going down to a 17" wheel/tire combo so these need to go. Good kill. But still kinda shitty in my books to set the guy up. If he had done something to piss you off would be one thing, but just for the sake of doing it... Imagine how pissed you would be if he had done that to you. ;)

I've got a piggyback tuner, that modifies the MAP sensor voltage to change the A/F ratio. The only bad thing about that is that you have to have almost the perfect injectors because if you pull too much MAP voltage you can hurt the tranny. The TCM uses MAP to regulate line pressure. And if you add too much voltage you'll send the truck into limp mode, which is what I ended up doing sunday. I've got a little larger injectors on the way, cause I need them now, but I know when it cools off more the stockers won't even come close to getting it done. That's literally the only control I have with tuning this thing, it's soooo frustrating because I know there's so much more power to be had, I just cant access it. I'm gonna try running some 110 gas this weekend and lean it back out to see what it does.

Yeah its a speed density system. It really loves cold weather, the temp was still in the mid 60's on my 12sec pass.

You'll get a kick out of this Zippy.. Notice the MPH on the two slower slips compared to the two faster slips. The only difference was that on the faster runs I changed my A/F to 12.1:1 instead of 12.7:1. You read that right, I picked up ET and MPH by running richer. Damn it, I really wish I had full control over the ECM in this truck. It needs more timing down low, and a little less up top, I added fuel to try and get rid of some KR in 3rd gear.

I've got all bolt-ons except for a e-fan. P/P heads I did myself, comp 268 cam, 3k edge converter, and other components to make it work such as springs etc.etc.etc. I'm running Mickey Thompson 295/45-17 Drag radials which are kick ass, and 225/55-17 "skinnies" up front.

I finally broke into the 12's today on the stock 5.7 bottom end. I'm hoping I can still knock another tenth or two off, but time will tell. Truck was running strong today, but I'm still getting KR in 3rd gear, so I've got to try and figure that out. I'm sorry for posting this, but I'm very excited about breaking inot the 12's. As far as I know I'm only the 2nd 5.7 ram in the 12's N/A, the record is 12.78, I'll be trying to beat that next weekend. From what he's saying his rearend is still giving him troubles. He replaced the clutch packs but they're still not holding. He's going to swap a Dana 60 out of a SRT-10 in his truck.

UPDATE. WBW ran a 12.06@110mph last night N/A, didn't spray cause his rearend is going out.

In track trim mine weighs in at around 4500lbs.
