  1. Its all the sellers permit and DBA crap. A lot of people won't pay tax since they are outside of California but I have to charge tax for those that aren't. It sucks but I don't want the California tax franchise board after me. I've been audited before and it sucked. No wonder so many companies are leaving California. There is just so much crap and red tape to do anything at all.
  2. Unfortunately nothing good yet. They city of LA takes forever to process and business filings. I was told I'd have everything I needed by the beginning of July, obviously that hasn't happened. I tell you I have a whole new respect for anyone doing business in California. There are so many hoops you have to jump through. The part that kills me is the fact that I have them already made and anodized sitting in my garage just waiting to be sold and I know you guys want them, but I can't because I'll get screwed by the government if you don't play by their rules. As I said before as soon as I get all the paperwork, you guys will be the first ones to know. Thanks for your patience. Eric
  3. Rest assure anyone that is interested, the front brackets will be released soon. Most likely mid July possibly sooner.
  4. Brackets are done but I have to take care of a few things on the business end. Should be ready to sell them mid July, possibly sooner.
  5. Sorry to keep you guys in the dark. The shop I work for finally got some work and been hurting real bad for money so the brackets kind of got put on hold for a little bit. The fronts are still at the plating shop waiting to be picked up and I just need to finish up a couple of things on the business end. If all goes well should be ready to sell them by early to mid July. Thanks again for your patience guys.
  6. I'm curious as to what it is out of.
  7. Front brackets are done. Should be dropping them off to be anodized Monday or Tuesday.
  8. One thing that hasn't been discussed line locks. Not the line locks for doing burn outs. But I remember seeing something that you hooked in line with your brake system. You would press the brake pedal and then lock the unit with a tube style key. When you released the brake pedal the brakes were still fully engaged. Once again it wouldn't totally prevent someone that really wanted your truck from stealing it but it would defineately slow them down and make a lot of noise dragging the locked up wheels.
  9. I could be wrong, but I thought you were supposed to start with the wheel farthest away from the master cylinder and move closer.
  10. Do you have any pics of installs he has done?
  11. Only problem with killing someone instantly is that sometimes mistakes are made by the courts. Innocent people do go to jail sometimes. But in cases like this I believe she should die instantly. Also, something that I think every judge should have is a side arm of some sort 9mm, 45, 38 whatever. Then when these morons come to court to sue because the cut off their fingers trying to use their lawn mower to cut their hedges and the judge shoots them dead on the spot maybe people will think twice.
  12. No problem. I'm going to anodize them all. Its doesn't add that much to make it worth only doing some of them. As far as the rears go I'll probably do a batch of 4 piston and a batch of 6 piston. As far as price I'm still not 100% sure. I'm still fighting with my boss as to how much he wants for using the CNC and tumbler. Another reason is the cost of insurance. I live in the wonderful state of California where nothing is ever is anyones own fault. I can't be manufacturing these things without product liability insurance. I've talked to a few lawyers and I just can't avoid it. I'm still negotiating with a few different carriers to get the best deal. The better deal I get on insurance, the better price I can give you guys. I can tell you this much. They won't be more than $300 like Ray sold them for because I personally wouldn't want to pay more than that. They will most likely be somewhere between $250 and $300. When I started making them my initial goal was to be able to offer them for $200 but at that price I would be losing money. Also keep in mind that I'm also giving Ray some money for every set sold. He has helped everyone that has these already and we wouldn't have them at all if it wasn't for him doing the initial leg work. In fact he even said I didn't need to give him anything one of the many many many times I've called to bug him asking questions, which to me shows how great of a guy he truly is. The fronts are almost done.
  13. From what I can find of pics of the ISS wing it looks like it would work. There is weather stripping around the outside of the edge of the tonneau cover that is about 1/4 when not compressed. As long as the spoiler leading edge or thickness of the leading edge isn't more than that I believe it would work.
  14. I can't say 100% because I've never seen what one looks like in real life but it worked with my regular ss spoiler no problem. As long as the leading edge isn't much higher than a stock ss spoiler I would think it would work.
  15. I got a couple of estimates for different places around the country. UPS and Fedex both wanted around $500.00 average so obviously not going with them. To send it freight and generally it was around 175.00. So I'll say 175.00 and if its more I'll pay the difference. So a total of $575.00 I pay to package it and paypal fees. If you do end up getting it and it costs less for freight I'll give you back the difference. I just can't be bugging the office to get quotes everyday since I'm shipping it through my work.
  16. GOOD NEWS!!!!! CNC is up and running.
  17. Should be done with the first run by the end of this week or beginning of next. I'd like to have 100 for a total of 50 sets. Like I said no work for most of this month and not much last gives me lots of time. Thats also why I'm so much money into these. Its not just the raw aluminum but all the 10.9 grade hardware for 50 sets, plus more for anodizing too. My wife is not happy right now. You should have seen her face when I told her I was spending two grand on rotors and calipers.
