  1. Thanks for the replies guys. SS Bnoon, dont the pacesetter LT'S for our trucks also fit the LS1's? I thought I read that on pacesetters website? Thanks for the heads up though.

Fireman, I asked the guy if he made a typo but he and other LS1tech members have FLP headers (maybe flowpro abbreviated? just a guess. Thanks

So, do the ones on this link from pacesetters website fit our trucks cause thats my next route.

  2. Best- Blackbear Performance Tune

Worst- Corvette servo. Was actually a great mod but it got F***D in the process of installing it. A 2 hr job turned into a 4 day job and led to scars and my old man never letting me live down the remark I made " This will only take 20mins" LOL, but I love it now.

  3. Figure the music poll will be up by June 1st.....I was thinking "start me up" by the Rolling Stones, but believe it or not I am really leaning towards "thunderstruck" by AC/DC now. :chevy:

Oh man, I was SOOOOOO thinking thunderstruck. I Was actually going to suggest that but I didnt think you were gonna do classic rock stuff. I think that will go great with the video. Especially the begining with just the guitar solo. If you're going to use a couple different songs, I suggest you use thunderstruck for the begining of the vid at least. JMO

  4. SO whens the official poll of songs to go with the video? I suggest somehting like classic rock but then again, I'm not making the video. There was a performancetrucks.net video that used ZZ Topp's La Grange and it turned out quite well. Just keep us updated on the song selection/thoughts and when the poll comes out.

Heres the PT.net video in case you wanted to see it http://video.performancetrucks.net/video/5...a2200fa670a.htm

  5. Had these sold but deal fell through. I have a set of LS1 E fans from a 99 LS1 camaro that I was planning on installing but decided to sell them cause there taking up space now. These fans will fit any

/Chevy 99-07 truck/SUV with a stock clutch/ mechanical fan. There is a crack in the plastic but does not effect any mechanical/electrical or structural integrity of the fans themselves.

For those of you who dont know how they work opposed to a stock clutch/mechanical fan, the LS1 fans offer more airflow from (2) 15" Electric fans which do not pull from the crank of the engine therefore freeing up power and putting less stress on the engine itself. The HP gains are around 15-17 hp (estimated) freed up from the stock clutch fan. I had a set of LS1 fans installed on my 00 5.3 and noticed an improvement in MPG as well as HP and operating temp.

I'm asking $130 + shipping OBO. Heres a pic, I can get more upon request. PM me with any questions/offers.

  6. Well, last week I started installing my gauges (Oil pressure & Air Fuel Gauges) and ran into a problem with lighting up the gauges. Friend of mine helped me to attempt install but had a problem with the wiring lighting up the gauges. When you pull the headlight wiring block out, which wires did you connect the gauge wires to so they light up? I'm going to install them tomorrow afternoon and just looking for replies before. Thanks
