  1. Selling a Sirius radio system if anybody is interested? I had it for about 5 years,I installed it in the SS only used it a couple of times, complete with instructions and original box. $60.00+ shipping
  2. thanks for the reply,I see your cam is a 112 LSA. One less than mine, did you ever do the write up that Krambo did years ago. I did and it pretty much idles perfect, just play around with base idle air flow and the cracker air flow tables and add less ve at idle areas, also porpotinal idle air flow. I finally got it figured out. I did the idle airflow procedure over several days of cold start ups, I ended up subtracting about 1.5 g/ sec from my scans and the surging is gone, and my AFR is right about 14.6-14.7 at idle. Also I did my VE and MAF tables and man what a difference, so smooth and a lot more responsive throttle, now got to figure out my WOT because it is running lean, 15.2-15.7, for some reason I have PE set at 12.8 across the board, but I think it is something to do with COT being that I have enabled it. Anybody have an idea if COT mess's with PE at WOT?
  3. yes I have scan configurations I want to log my actual idle airflow so i can set my base running air flow, I have already tuned my ve and maf airflow tables, just trying to get my idle a little bit better I have a little bit of surging in open loop when I do a cold start.
  4. I'm using a toshiba laptop with hp tuners running on windows XP. Support and security is no longer available for it. So I really don't want to go online with it. So I was wonder if some can post what pid's to setup in the scanner, but I guess it is to difficult to do.
  5. Trying to figure out how to set a idle air flow configuration for P/N and in gear. I can't seem download configurations with my I-pad just need some help on what pids or sensor's to load in the histogram, any help is alway's appreciated. Thanks in advance.
  6. Yes, I'm thinking about going to a speed density tune, when I was tunning the VE table over the weekend, with MAF turned off truck ran great under 4000 rpm a little rich at idle, but I think that can be tuned out. And I only drive the truck maybe a 1000 miles a year. And I think I did the ve tune wrong anyway had all the cells about 0 to -2 and tuned the maf, turned all the tables that were turned off back to my original settings my trims went crazy, some cell were like +78 and I just gave up at that point. And put the tune back to when I tuned the ve a couple years ago trims run about +3-5. and I spent about 10 hour's tunning on Sunday
  7. Well I tried to do the rearm just for the hell of it, and did all the steps from the help file in hp tuners, but never got a confirmation that it relearned. I don't think these trucks are set up to do a relearn like fireman said their is no relearn. Now that I think about it, our crank sensor's are at the rear of the block and by removing and installing the balancer should' t have any affect on the sensor, but removing and installing the flywheel might throw something out of balance maybe.
  8. Hey mark how are you doing? did you mean retune? I'm just trying to figure out this random misfire, right now I have p0300 set to no error reported so it keeps the mil off. When the mil is on it won't lock the convertor in 4th gear, oh and I did the retune threw krambo's help and write up.
  9. Also I check the DTC list in hp tuners for my truck p1336 is not listed,
  10. I found this old post not sure how true it is,A crankshaft variation relearn must be performed if: A diagnostic trouble code of P1336 is present. The computer has been replaced or re-programmed. The crankshaft position sensor has been replaced. The engine, harmonic balancer, clutch, or flywheel have been: disassembled, removed, or replaced. The crankshaft position variation learning feature enables the computer to compensate for part manufacturing tolerances. This allows the computer to accurately detect an engine misfire throughout the engine RPM range. The learning process is stored in the computers memory and does not have to be repeated unless one or more of the above conditions are present. Some scanners are capable of doing this. Check local garages. Anyone with HPtuners or EFI Live tuning software can do this also. I found this on gm trucks.com
  11. Well I think I will try the crank relearn anybody have any pointers?
  12. Thanks for the info, has anyone done it with HP tuner's? And is it difficult?
  13. Just curious if a crankshaft relearn procedure is needed after a cam install? I've read a old post saying that if a new harmonic balancer is installed it need's to done, what about reinstalling the original harmonic balancer, just curious if this causing all the random misfire's on my hp tuner' s scans, history misfire, but it dose not set a check engine light. Hope this make's any sense to anybody, thanks chris
  14. That's a awesome find. How does the gas stay fresh after 8 years? Or has it been drain and replaced every year.
  15. Also check the thermostat housing outlet side of pump, I had a friend with a similar prolbem, when I replaced his thermostat I discovered a piece of the thermostat stuck in the the hole of the passage going to the heater core,He said at one time he had pepboys replace the thermostat and he had that prolbem ever since. I'm not sure how that piece got stuck in their but is was wedge pretty good. Did you do a flow test? It sounds like a blockage somewhere, I hope this helps
  16. I've unchecked the remember me box, and somehow it is check ervytime I open up the site, weird.
  17. I'm not sure if this is the right place to post, any how every time I open up the site I'm automatically signed in, is this normal? I sign out but when I return, I'm signed in.
  18. do these kit's ever go on rebate?, also I have 18x 9 wheels and a 295/45R18 hankook tires, I think the wheels are 30 mm offset. Not sure how to measure offset, will I have any rubbing issue's?
  19. Can I still get a kit? would like to get a 3-4 I have a 03 AWD
  20. Just came across this in another thread,I see the key switch and the gear shifter stay's on the same side of the steering column, how about the brake and gas pedal, do you use your right foot for the gas?
