I finally broke down and traded in my Avalanche Z71 for a 2003 black SS AWD. I feel like I stole it from the dealer. I have been looking for over three months and come across some pretty beat up trucks, some pretty nice ones with pretty big price tags, and just some that made you go WTF? So anyways...credit is approved and I pick it up monday on 4/10/06. It only has 15,100 miles on it, full fiberglass paint-to-match tonneau cover and full carpeted bed liner. There isn't a mark on it. Checked car fax and it was clean. The owner literally had kept in a garage and never drove it. Picked it up for $23k + a 3 year 60k warranty. Not a bad deal in my opinion. Truck looks brand new.
I come from another popular sport tuning market, the Pontiac grand prix with the L67 motor. I am very familiar with forced induction and have a 1999 GTX 2 door running high 12's.
I have my eye on the STS turbo kit with an intercooler. I want to produce consistant high 12's or low 13's and keep it a daily driver. Look forward to modding:)
