  1. You can buy a kit from belltech but it comes with torsions keys, shocks, and hangers. For the bumpstops, all you gotta do is cut one numb or 2 to get the clearance, wich means the truck won't hit the bump stops. The only thing with that kit is that the torsions keys are not the best option, spindles for the front are the way to go apparently, i'll have to order some because the front end feels sloppy. I've purchased my kit from stylin'concepts and now I want some spindles for the front instead of keys. If I knew this forum before I would have bought spindles, hangers, and shocks. No one makes a perfect plug and play kit
  2. Better there than in the windshield
  3. I paid 190$ for my TBTC brand new and it works like a charm. I don't know much about yank but I guess it stalls at about the same rpm, mine stall at about 2500 rpm. It's a good investment, as I already recommended you ;) I am installing a cam this weekend and it's a midrange-topend cam wich means it will perform best between 2500 rpm-6400 rpm. I was informed that if I want to get an awesome launch that a 3000 stall would be better. I don't want to change subject but i know you will be s/c and i won't. If you got both items now put them in now , 12-18 months seems so long for such a starvation
  4. Putting one Billet servo upside down and driving for 2 days. Had to have the trans rebuilt.
  5. Man after seeing all your pics, I had to order one suks though they raised the price to 99$ That will be one shiney SS! Is there anyway to remove the grill in the back of it, or maybe i'll paint it black...
  6. I you want shift firmness, you should get a shift kit you won't regret it. It's one of the cheapest mod you can do and it's worth every penny. Get some Billet servos as well
  7. Here's the way I see it: hood 300$ fender 150$ head+flasher 200$ bumber 300$ grill 200$ wheel 200$ windshield 250$ installed airbag 200$ airbag module or reprogram 50$ rad support 100$ radiator 300$ frame work 800$ body work 1000$ total 4200$ plus all the other things you didn't expect and the inspection You've got to know somebody in the autobody business or you'll be taken care of !!! total would be 19000$ I was happy to save 2000$ when i bought mine, but I bought it repaired. It's all up to you, the truck looks nice too. Hope this helps
  8. Thanks!!! I'll be back for alignment in the future that is for SURE!!!
  9. For the front go with spindles instead of keys!!! As far as the back I am pleased with the Belltech hangers but it could be lower. I'd say go for Belltech spindles ans leaf kit for rear. Don't go with the keys!!! or you'll get that cheap alternative sloppy feeling in the front.
  10. Let's take it from stock: Stock 345 HP CAI 5 HP Exhaust 10 HP Tune 25 HP Cam 55 HP -------- 440 HP That's conservative...450 hp is rounded up ! I should be expecting a gain 80-90 HP from the cam and tune combined. But with that fartin' mufffler I might consider -10HP
  11. Man that's looking very good especially that black grill!!!
  12. Very nice system That's got to be LOUD! There is magnaflow distributor near too but I don't know about the sound...the sound clip on their site isn't what I am looking for. Might just be a better place to have it installed than Midas... Part of the problem is that - I - ordered that specific muffler since another member had it on his truck. When measuring, I found some bends that have a diameter of 2" in the smallest...that's gotta hurt too. The guy told me there would be resonnance by bending pipes like that at 90 degrees is that so?
  13. That thing is worth fixing it, parts won't be too expensive. It all depends on how much you pay Mine was worse than that LOL
  14. Anybody got a system for sale? I felt some high end gain...from 70 and up it's faster for sure I think I just might have bought an exhaust with bigger inlets/outlets...
  15. Apparently with the exit I was looking for he would have a hard time bending it. do you have the 50 series SUV? with dual 2.25" in/out?
  16. JF-03-SS : What size pipe is used on yours? I printed out your pic to show the exhaust shop! Yeah I was kind of pissed but he told me when the truck was already on the lift The inlets on this muffler are 2.25" already smaller than factory.
  17. I just received my new built exhaust system ans the guys could not put anything bigger than 2.25" pipes He tells me it's going to be more than enough for my truck and that I would not need anything bigger than that until I reach 400-500hp... Long story short, I don't feel any gain in HP but the sound is not bad I'll be receiving my cam and tune pretty soon and it's a 228/230 soo i'll be around 450hp at the flywheel... So my questions is how do you like my setup and are those pipes too small or it's just the Flowmaster that don't do a thing in adding power Thanks! Here are the pics:
  18. I would go with either the TBSS or the sierra denali. The sierra has a touch of class while the TBSS has a sporty look. Plus you can use em to buy some building material like 2x4's. Forget about even buying a BBQ with the impreza, you'll have to rent a truck to take it home But it's the fastest... and the envoy...not fast enough just my opinion. did you think about anything for me? LOL
  19. After waiting for two weeks for my Flo-Pro 2505 I was told that the muffler will be in production only in 2-3 weeks Soooo....will I wait 1 1/2 month for that? nope I just ordered my Flowmaster SUV #524554 and the setup will exit right before the rear wheel. (Just like Sandmanss) http://www.silveradoss.com/forums/index.ph...topic=18240&hl= I am counting the days That sound is just great!!!
  20. Mine whistles too but just for a short period of time, probably turbulence in the pipe http://www.mustangmods.com/ims/u/2888/6068/84770.jpg
  21. Yep, for every turn I make I ride for at least a day. 2 turns seem to have got rid of my problem
  22. Now that's funny, same thing happened to me yesterday, the guy had a Hemi with a catback and who knows what else. I gave him my best 3-2 down shift in da face! He later gave me the good guy!
  23. Tires are brand new...but I did it with my old set of goodyear and it changed things I can confirm that. If the wheels are straight in the front then it might just be the height of one side making the difference, I'm telling ya those torsions keys are not the best things...when I see a deal, i'll just grab the spindles for sure Now one more turn to see. it's actually getting better with that other turn from this morning. I don't have the specs but i can tell ya it's exactly the same as before the alignment.
  24. IT's kind of annoying, having to hold the steering towards the left. Maybe 15-20 degrees toward the left side. But you know what, i'll play with the torsions keys adjustements, I noticed the truck went lower by 1/4 inch on that side. I've cranked that side by one turn, it'll probably correct that. Gotta ride it a bit and see
