I've wanted a TBSS since they came out, can't get rid of the SSS though, I figure I'll wait another year while the TBSS prices keep falling and get one for my DD. There have been some pretty good deals on them on Craigslist lately.

I've been a certified diver since I was old enough to get my open water cert. Cage diving with Great Whites is at the top 5 of my bucket list.

Does FLT make a rebuilt kit or just swap for your core and cash?

My transmission is starting to slip on occasion and I'm going to start to gather the parts to do a rebuild\upgrade. I have very moderate mods and don't plan to do much in the future. Bone stock except: CAI Magnaflow dual in dual out exhaust. Future mods will be long tubes and tune. I pull a 6500-7000lb camper a couple of times per year and a 2500lb bass boat a good bit spring\summer\fall and need something that can take the towing. A friend of mine had a black one, 05-06 I think, It was bad but being Chrysler, he lost his ass when he drove it off the lot.

Mines got 208k on it and running pretty good, I think the tranny is finally starting to go though, it's started making a poping noise when I get on it hard...

What programmer did you use, if you don't mind me asking? I bought my current SS with 204k miles, 1 owner with clean carfax, it had Magnaflow exhaust, Rhino liner, fiberglass bed cover, and CAI. Got it for 9k cash, it did have some minor scratches and what not, but in good shape for the miles. I would guess $11-12k with your miles and mods?

If the whole grill were billet, maybe, i'd have to see it all together. By themselves, I think they look cheesy... It's your truck if you like them, go for it.

Very nice camper, I've got a 04' 28' Surveyor by Forrest River, it tows really well with the SS. Mine has the queen bed the slides out the front, wish it had the side slide out like yours with the dinet and couch.

I tow a camper that gets close to that, around 6800-7000lbs loaded down and the SS tows it like a beast. I thing there is plenty of motor to tow more, just not enough suspension to handle the weight. Without the weight distributing hitch on the camper, it sets the back end of the truck down considerably, it's got around 600lbs of tongue weight.

I regretted it so bad I bought another one just like it 3 years later...

I've been pulled over for tint in my wife's Maxima before, only had 20% on the Windows though, cop was profiling and missed his guess. He gave me hell about the tint and I told him we hadn't had the car that long and that it came with tint when we bought it. He let me know, just telling me to get the tint removed...

I thought that for a long time till I had to take the headliner out, there is a fan in there that does something for the auto climate control? The fan gets noisy sometimes and has to be cleaned or replaced.

Round thing is for climate control, black thing is mic for Onstar.

That's a good price but it's still a New York truck... GLWTS.

That happens to almost all of these trucks, you can buy a new plastic hinge to fix it or you can put some weather stripping in it. To seal it permanently and not be able to open it, you can put a bead of caulk around the seal, then reinstall the window and it will be nice and quiet and dry. Mine has gotten so bad that the automatic carwash floods my back door panel and floorboard, I just keep putting off fixing it.

A friend of mine has an 06 stage 3 with a blower, it's a mean car to say the least. I can stay with him till about 45ish from a dig then he leaves me by a couple of lengths...
