I got to get some cutouts, my truck is already loud, but being able to get really loud at the push of a button would be great! Nice Vids!

Not the mention the dealer markup on top of that...

I see it all the time and know where it works now so I'll snap some pics next time I'm on that side of town.

After he argued with me about it being the original paint, I just let it go and wrote it off as a lost cause.

I've seen a white SS around town for the last couple of months, looks clean with black stock rims and black SS badges. The big thing I noticed is that the badges are upside down. While I was out to lunch today, I got behind the truck and followed him back to his work to check out his truck. I asked him if it was a clone or a repaint, he said it came that way, to which I said, they didn't make white SSs and the badges are upside down, pointing to the badges on my truck. He said it hadn't been painted because the inside door frames and what not were white too. I figured he was clueless about what he had and just went on to get my lunch....

My only gripe about my magnaflow is the drone, from about 57-62 it is obnoxiously loud in the cab. The muffler starts right where the bed and cab meet and goes back under the bed, not sure if moving it back would make the drone go away?

The first 03 SS I had got better mileage than the one I've got now, I was getting 18-19 hwy at 65-70 mph bone stock, the 03 I have now gets around 15-16 hwy and has exhaust and intake. i'm thinking a tune will greatly help the mileage with the mods.

Magnaflow 2x in/ 2x out.

Is it just me or does Chevy plastic only have a 10 year lifespan, I've had a door handle and the tailgate trim piece break off in the last two weeks.....
-
I've seen much much worse, at least it's clean and looks well taken care of, take all the exterior crap off and cur the price a little, maybe $12k.
-
Shot the poor thing and put it out of it's misery, it's already sick if it's at a repair shop....
-
Mine got loose like yours the other week, then broke. The arm inside the door that attaches to the rod sheered off.

So when's the court date?

Cool thread Idea, that's a lot of info to spill on the net though.

X10!!! I revved on a Porsche 911 turbo the other day at a light, knowing good and well he would roast my ass and the prick didn't even look at me....

That's one of the meanest looking Dodges I've seen.

I called a friend that works at. Body shop, he got me a brand new one painted for $26.

If anyone has a Black Drivers side SS door handle laying around, I'll take it off your hands. Mine broke last night and the door won't open. The dealer only sells paint to match now and I'd like to avoid having one painted if possible. Thanks, Stephen

It would make sense that it was a concept that was sold when GM sold all their cool toys during bankruptcy, would need some documentation from GM before I'd say it was legit though. Really cool looking none the less. They had a Colorado SS that looked awesome that they sold during bankruptcy as well. -
That's a house on wheels, cool pic.

Not only would I but I have, I had a 2003 SS, sold it due to having a baby on the way, then bought another one just like it earlier this year. Your truck is almost 10 years old and all cars at that age generally need maintenance. You can do a lot of cool stuff to these truck and make them very fast, but even a stock truck gets you lots of looks and is really fun to drive, yet you can also still use it as a truck if the need arises unlike the Ford or Dodge performance trucks. My current truck has 204k on it and hasn't had anything but the regular scheduled maintenance done, my first 2003 SS had 78k on it when I sold it and was in great shape with only regular maintenance.

I've got one, I'm about to put a pioneer in my truck, so my stock needs a new home.
