I work on and sell them for a living. Asus makes one of the best you can buy, they have a good warranty and plenty of power. A new laptop with Win 7, 4gb of ram, 15.6" LED screen, 320gb HD will run about $450. Lenovo (IBM consumer) also makes some really good stuff that is affordable and good quality. Acer is garbage, Dell and HP are hit or miss but their customer service is terrible.

That should be awesome, I've always liked Spintech, I've Magnaflows on my truck now but I'm most likely going to swap to Spintech Pro Streets in the near future. This GTO is bad a$$ sounding with 2.5" spintechs and LT headers.

Will those fit an SS?

My uncle has a syclone he bought new that has been a garage queen all it's life. Wish he'd let me drive it just once... I think it has a whopping 5200 miles on it.

Lemme know how they turn out for you, I've been considering headers but my wife would have a come apart if I spent $800-$1000 on them. I might can get by with some mild bitching if i spend less than $400.

There is a white one around here I see a good bit, it's been dropped what looks like 2/3 and has black stock 20s and black everything else, it actually looks pretty good. I'll try to get some pics next time i see it.

My wife wanted a Juke so we test drove one, I couldn't fit in it. That thing would be fun with that much power in something that small.

I noticed the new body style doors on the extended cab have actual roll down electric windows and looks very similar to the door on the SS. Any chance of being able to retrofit them to the SS or at least steal the guts and put them in the SS back doors. These flip opens windows suck, I'd rather have them be fixed than deal with the wind noise.

Just added it up and it's the same price for Royal Purple 5w30 and filter from summitracing.com as buying Mobile one synthetic and filter from Autozone. I did notice that Mobile one has a high mileage full synthetic 5w30 that's for over 75k miles. Doesn't really elaborate on what makes it better than regular mobile one full synthetic.

She runs just as good as the last 03 I had that I bought with 35k and sold at 78k, just want to keep her that way and have never had anything with this high of miles. I wouldn't normally buy anything like this but I got it for a steal and it had all the paperwork and was a one owner that was meticulous. I only drive within a 30 mile radius of my house(work and towing the boat to the lake) so if it does break down, I'm not out much and it's time for upgrades.

In my last SS i ran mobile one synthetic with mobile one filter religiously, it also only has 38k miles on it when I bought it and 78k on it when I sold it. The "new" SS i bought has 201k miles on it, would you guys still recommend 5w30 mobile one synthetic or something a little thicker like 20w50?

That's a nice looking truck, I had a 2001 LS with the ZQ8 package, it was a fun little truck with teh 4.6, I can't imagine a 5.3 in it. GLWTS.

That is a fog light and they're not staying there for long. Thank God they didn't cut the grill in the air duct so i'm going to move the fog lights to behind the center lower grill.

Is your HID kit highs and lows and does it have bulbs?

Here she is, she was in great shape inside and out, espically for the miles. I got all the service records and everything checks out. I worked them over pretty well and got a good deal. I had them put it up on a lift, everything under the front was good and tight, no rust, and it drove just as well as my first 03 did when I got it back in 06, It's nice having all this power back. Here's a click of the exhaust, It's Magnaflow, just not sure which one. It's 2 in to 2 out with tips very similar to the stock tips.

Buy a Spintech 6000 series and have it mounted behind the cab, that will take come of the droan out and sound badass. The muffler is only $100 on ebay.

Job 1. I'm an IT guy for a software company Job 2. I own my own consulting business, where I do IT consulting and low voltage installations. Job 3. I also do remodeling as needed, hardwood floors, bathrooms, kitchens, etc. Possible job 4.
