My research has shown me otherwise. Pay attention to the flow numbers/or hp but compare the valve sizes used on each head and or the test bore size, and runner size used to compare the two
Although the boat is cool, its hardly a awd 5100 pound truck with a ls based motor in it. If you want a run of mill trick flow head you can call up summit or jegs right now. If you want to go through tea and get a tfs head with custom valves or better springs or decked a little, then it will take a while longer. I chose to wait

My AFR's were not run of the mill, I called them up directly, they answered the phone (the first time) I told them want I needed, and they shipped the custom heads one week later.
And you're right, these motors aren't comparable to LS motors, there are reasons why LS motors don't work in offshore powerboats.
Bottom line is, I think the two heads are very comparable. Who knows I might even end up with a set of TFS heads on this truck.

That's a very incorrect statement. When you need rpm you need a stable valve train. Light valves can help with spring pressures, valve bounce, and valve float. Mine are turned down hollow ls3 valves to help my motor run 7300 rpm with kinda minimal piston to valve, .080
Although afr is my second choice, I don't think they will beat a trick flow head.

I haven't seen that. Every article has AFR and TFS roughly the same. With the exception of one article and the TFS heads were HEAVILY worked over, ie not what your going to get if you are joe blow.
It's been my experience in the Performance boat world, that AFR is easier to get a hold of as well. My 35 fountain lightening has twin Merc racing 540 bulldogs with AFR heads and whipple quad rotor superchargers. Each motor makes 1040 hp at 4.5#s of boost. Boat runs in the 130s.

the difference in the hollow stem valves doesnt mean squat when modding and the valvespings would go bye bye anyway soo....? does it matter?
I wouldn't want hollow stem valves. Just me though. I'm going to run boost, and likely going with AFR heads.

A good stall and trans mods will eat up about 1500, if you do the work yourself. Cam swap will set you back around 1000, again if you do the work, and don't have any unforeseen problems. Basically, I would do full bolt ons first, then trans work, then camshaft, and finally heads. Who knows, you may be perfectly happy with bolt ons and trans mods. I'm on my iPhone so I can't see your sig (mods you have now).

Hows the drivability of it? ie from idle is it pretty tight? I am looking at converters and am worried I wont like the streetability of a stall
It will take some getting used to. Part throttle driving is around 2500 rpms now. It is different. Mine is not tight at all from idle, but I asked Chris to set it up loose. It hits hard though right at 3200-3300.

I can get you a set of 243s a buddy has not sure on price but I will guess 300-350ish
LS2 or LS6?
-
Yeah. I want the exact cam you have.
-
Bump, anybody?

400 at the crank. Not really sure, hate to guess. Roads were wet, that's why I could spin the tires pretty well.
-
Volant CAI, ARH 1 7/8, exhaust, efans, tune.
-
It made an impressive difference. Roads were a little wet yesterday, and doing AWD burnouts was pretty fun. It won't light the tires like my Duramax, but it does alright. I had to shim my converter to .125" of end play.

Yeah I realize that, but man it just seems that a lot of girls, no wait let me rephrase that. All girls around my age are not into nice guys like me. I am not that guy who is too nice, but I'm a good nice guy who just treats nice girls with respect. I just feel that girls judge someone before they really know them and they shy away from that person. I look at profiles online and the one thing that has got me a bit wrapped up is fake profiles. In other words someone creating a profile with pictures of someone they are not. I fear for that happening. So far the only kind of responses iI got is from internet bots, which I have heard of and can pick those out right away. Besides those, just got to chatting with someone who I thought might have been legit. Was starting to get to know them a little bit and it was all seeming fine until she asked me if i would go onto this website. She told me that she was a model and asked me if i would vote for her. I figured yeah, but then she asked me go onto this website to create an account and enter a credit card number for verification. I asked her what was the credit card info for. She told me just for verification and she swore up and down that I wouldn't be charged for anything. I asked her again what this was all for. She told me that she would show me from her webcam. Right there is where I threw the red flag and told her or it or whoever it was that I don't buy into dirty tricks or.scams and I left. I caught onto this persons scam they were running and they removed me from their facebook. I laughed about it, but this just goes to show you, this crap is happening and there are dirty lying scammers out there just waiting to get someone. fortunately for me, I contacted the dating site and told them I wanted a refund and said I am going to leave the site. It's not satisfying I guess.
As for posting up a photo, just go find me on facebook.
Bro, you have it backwards man, you are seeking a women(and letting it be known big time) you have to make them seek YOU. Sure it's up to you to get the ball rolling, but you have to play the game man. I know it sounds crazy, but you got to make them work for your attention. Once you change your out look on women, they will be after you.

Girls are crazy man. I been single for like 10 years. I never ever want a relationship it's not for me. I go in dates here and there and get some when need be. Other then that I can't stand being In a relationship. I do what I want when I want how many times I wanna do it lol. All girls are lying cheating stupid people.
If you really need a chick you have to play the game. Act like u care but not that much. Be the nice/bad guy. Have a cuddle side to u but be direct and firm at other times. Dating sites are not dating sites. They should be called hooking up sites. That's all that's on there a chick can say she's looking for a relationship all she wants she's full of crap. Hang out with her one night and u will see for your self. Any chick you can get with the first night ain't worth it because guess what your not the only one she's doing that with.
Good luck man.
Find a hobby keep busy and when you least expect it a chick will pop up..
All I can say is X2.

My SS has a 1 piece aluminum driveshaft.

I will second this, I have 1 7/8 ARH on my bolt on only truck, with the cutouts open I notice a drop in low end tq. I still have the factory muffler though, so when the cutouts are CLOSED it runs out quite well and has plenty of low end power.
