    SRT8 cherokee

SRT Cherokee's are sick. Hand held tuner to release for SRT8s next week, gonna be nice to see the outcome.
  2. As of today retaining AWD is not 100% necessary. I decided to buy a 2005 Legacy GT so I can have a new winter vehicle (awesome deal, 11k miles and I got her for $14,700 from a client)....so with that being said would I be better off going RWD and running fatties in the back or trying to keep the AWD?
  3. Thanks. I think that is the route to go.
  4. Damn...fast. I still dont get how the TBSS weighs less than the Silverado...
  5. Yea bug deflector has to go. My dad put it on there one day thinking I'd like it and I couldn't tell him its ugly. When I redo everything none of that stickon crap is goin back on. I like how it looks white. Should I do Chrome Emblems and ducts or black? I think the pearl white with stainless or chrome instead of the plastic ducts and some nice Polished forged bonspeed wheels would set it off perfect.
  6. Wow...that SUV can skooooooot!
  7. brobradh77..here's white. couldn't get the red out fully so it has a tint of pink to it.
  8. ok...the orange is too much. I need suggestions on new colors to look at. These would be a blasphemy..
  9. Wow..never seen that. I love that blue.
  10. Here is another attempt. I'll have them try the atomic orange/copper. I think that looks best even though it reminds me of my old car. Guess that'll give me a new vanity plate idea... "Reborn" lol EDIT: ...is this Atomic Orange??
  11. I'm not even gonna be using the stock mirrors. I ordered some sport mirrors from Stylinconcepts last week. I'm starting to think the copper and gunmetal would look best on the truck.
  12. A quick recolor attempt by a member at genvibecentral. color still needs tweaked but he's getting there.
  13. Guess the 80 is the safest route then. Might as well to the expensive conversion the 1st time rather than spend money and have to do it again down the road.
  14. PFFT. lol we all say that and look what happens. It is in our blood. 300C SRT8 is the best of the pack...it is suprisingly lighter than the charger and I think it looks better. I remember seing slips from a guy in SoCal that ran 12.5@112 in his bone stock 300SRT
  15. Congrats! Those are awesome brakes. Getting sponsored is a great acheivement. My 1st project car got sponsored by a local audio store. They put 6 15's in my Pontiac Vibe w facing front, 2 straight up, and 2 at the rear. That car was fun as hell, the roof of the car would ripple like waves. Best part was going into the REALLY ritzy parts of town late at night or by restaraunts and crankin it up making everyones car alarms go off.
  16. Thanks for the info, just looked at that Nelson Performance kit...that looks pretty nice. ...and I agree there is no real diffirence between the two only that the single has to potential to run out of breathe first and that is what turbo upgrades are for. I'll have to check performancetrucks.net and see if anyone is running it so I can see a dyno. I'd like to see the powerband so I can decide between the ST and the Kenne Bell 2.8. The reason I'm leaning more toward the turbo is the fact that making a streetable truck with this kind of power...power kicking in a little late isn't always a bad thing.
  17. Ok, I did some searching the site this morning and afternoon while still trying to decide the key aspect of my motor build and I came across two things that I was wondering if anyone could answer some questions about? 1. In the Kit vs Kit end all thread there is the Detroit speedworks, PTK, CM, LM -- Front mount turbo kits I was wondering if anyone on the site is running them? I searched and didn't see any threads about them. 2. In searching for the info to answer the above question I came across 2 forum members that were fabricating a Twin Turbo setup and were planning to market it...did that kit ever get released to the public? Searching his post history all I saw was the build up, an 'I took the truck to the track' post, then a post about him selling the truck. -Thanks.
  18. Pearle white is the most gorgeous color to ever be put on a vehicle, but the part that scares me about it is how hard it is to color match if I was ever in a fender bender, especially after getting my passenger door backed into when I went to Bass Pro here a little bit ago to pick up my dads birthday present. Other than the orange, what other colors would you guys suggest for an eye catching truck that isn't over the top? Just no red, pink, or silver. Last time I suggested green I got asked if I was a beaner.
  19. Here is a nice color. Kandy Red with gold ghost pearl..
  20. I'v had my carpet liner since a month after I got my SS and I'v hauled everything from fridges/washers&dryers to hauling gravel and dirt and it is still snug and looks like it did the day I got it. Downside: hard to get my fat ass in the front of the bed with a carpet shampooer with the tanau on it. lol
  21. Hmm... (again I'm an idiot in the tranny department) can you elaborate on the sucky gears? ...and do you know if the stock SS tranny can be built to handle 900tq? I have a budget of around 7 grand that I can set aside for my tranny, pending on prices when I shop around for a new shop to do my motor work..found out a few hours ago the shop owner that did the work on my old vette and my fathers vehicles had a heart attack monday. :| Hopefully there is someone near FTL that does good work, I'd like to see my work get done in the same area so I can keep tabs on things.
  22. Carpet Bedliners ftw.
  23. holy **** I wasn't expectig that.
