  1. That is one sharp lookin box.
  2. Damn things shoulda come with a 140 or 160 mph speedo stock, top end is where these motors shine. Looks like I'm gonna have to keep reading speed with a GPS until someone makes one.

    FINALLY

No doubt, I remember the first drive...I was not expecting a truck to move like that.
  4. If you get a hood that needs hood pins, Top Secrets locking pins are great. expensive ($182 for 2) but made really well and look good. alot better than just the pin and ring sticking out. http://www.topsecretjpn.com/ac.shtml
  5. ok, here's a quote from bobistheoilguy.com and it has been said across the GTO forums, vette forums, and 350Z forums. Great info on oils there along with test results.
  6. Ignore my post...I can't find the link to back it up, looks like it got deleted on the other site.
  7. Damn that looks good. I like those wheels too.
  8. I fell asleep after I posted it. going to look now, I know the site I saw it, just can't find the actual post it was in.
  9. Very nice. Glad you posted a pic from the front...lol I'v been so busy with therapy and dealing with my lawsuit from my accident I totally forgot to get my new 'SS' ordered for my windshield..heh. They are still upside down.
  10. Carbon fiber bed would be nice, lol. There is a local guy with a build 383 in his S10 and he has a custom bed built out of a rubberoid with fenderwells wide enough for him to run 18inch wide wheels. Looking at his truck you cant even tell, the outside it painted and the bed itself just looks like a bedliner with NOS bottles bolted down.
  11. Damn she'll get up'n go. Bout time we get some competition, embarassing hemi's is getting old.
  12. Thanks, I'll look into those. Looks really good like that.
  13. Edmon is a great town, My sister and 3 nieces live there and she hasn't ever had any problems around there. I go there every couple of months to see her and my other sisters grave there.
  14. All of my mothers family lives in Oklahoma. If you move there just stay far far away from the lil town of Cement, Oklahoma...I went there for a funeral 3 months ago and i shit you not the roads are so bad there that when we hit a bump down town on the way to the funeral home driving 3 mile per hour it made my tanau lift up. atleast that put a smile on my moms face. Some good driving roads other than that though, lots of lil lakes and twisties...There is a section of road that my moms uncle took me out to that is outside Tulsa that is a 9 mile straight away with no side roads and no place for cops to set on the side of the road. Best place to open her up.
  15. Carefull with the Royal Purple, It was tested by Blackstone labs and said to be the worst performing oil to date, with high wear numbers and high shear. (trying to find where I read it so I can post the link)
  16. boo, I miss wakeboarding. Nice boat.
  17. That looks good Kaotik. What are you dropped with? much better than stock
  18. lol...must be an RSX owner.
  19. I'd gladly bag it, but I have read that I can't slam it without sacrificing my AWD...which I cannot justify. There is nothing more fun than abusing the AWD in the rain and snow.
  20. Ok, I'm not sure if this is the right forum section to ask this, but I'v been looking and can't find a product or answer to this. Is it possible to get a Speedo...from say and old Corvette and get it calibrated...or does anyone make a speedo for silverado's that reads over 120? When my build is complete I know the truck is gonna do well over 120mph and I wanna know how fast she'll run.
  21. I was wondering...who has the lowest AWD and what you have done. I'v seen some good drops on the AWD SS's but I don't think I'v seen anyone dropped enough to tuck their wheels like I'm wanting to to. I hate my wheel gap and not sure what way to go is the reason I'm still on stock suspension.
  22. Thanks, it was hard to let go...even harder seeing it in he garage and not being able to ride it...heh. This is the bike I really miss: 2001 Screamin Eagle Dyna Wide Glide II, was my first built vehicle and what got me started in drag racing. Once I got good riding my father and uncle built the motor for me. I sold it to one of my fathers employee's in 04 before I bought the herritage and found out 2 months ago that he never made 1 payment to the bank on the bike and got it repo'd. I searched Ebay for it for a while but never saw it..and in all honesty with the way I heard it was treated I dont think I wanna see it.
  23. $900 for CF hood...thats not too shabby.
  24. I have shops near me that can build good motors, but nobody experienced in building trannies. Can anyone recommend a shop that can build me a tranny capable of holding 800-1000hp for my AWD near Missouri? I was also wondering if I can run a TH400 in the silverado? (I don't know alot about transmissions) With my upcoming project I need a stout tranny and I don't wanna lose my AWD.
