I wouldn't mind the 2009 cherokee SRT8 in my drive with my SSS. Its getting the 6.6l hemi supposed to put out 500+ ponies.

SRT8's are no joke. There have been some bone stock SRT8 300Cs do high 12's. For a heavy car they can move.

found out last night there are 2 SSS's in Willard. Went to the grocery store and when I came out there was a red one and a black one parked across from me. The guy with the black one uses his as a lawn service truck.

I remember on mothersday my father and I were building a greenhouse for my mom and I went to Lowes to get 1000lbs of gravel to use as flooring and a Titan wanted to play at the light leaving lowes and with all that weight in the bed his nose was at my rear wheels when I let off@80. Thats when the old man understood why I love the SS so much.

Wonder if a TBSS ECM and guage cluster for a 140mph speedo will work. I'm not sure if I could do a vette ECM and guage cluster. Bleh 140 speedo should be plenty, any higher than that and my girl would prolly go ape shit if she looked at the speedo.

Here is another pearl orange..but way too light imo. Also...Since I am dropping an LSX under the hood (it is a bright orange block) what is your opinions on having the motor chromed leaving just the LSX on the block orange and painting the covers the same orange? I need to go get some samples and find a nice deep orange that fits the truck best. My dad suggested a chameleon orange that fades from orange to red.

I haven't been out to Kearney in a while but last I heard from some friends a week ago its still going strong. I need to go out there and see for sure. SSS in Harrison wouldn't be me, I live between Willard and Ash Grove and don't get teh pleasure to drive that way much anymore. I will try and make it out to the show, my SS would be embarrasing to put in a show now. Fking MODOT painted the roads along Greene county 160 and put no signs out and no warning trucks, well I pop a hill and boom right on the ass of the paint truck and his overspray got both side of my truck. I may go just to find some local SS owners though.

Any chance of a scan? I haven't been receiving mine for a while. Think my neighbors son is takin them.

I'm not stuck on accents, I'm trying to get ideas. I accept any feedback. I'v been out of the show scene for 2 years now so I want my come back to look good. As for red...lol yea sorry I dont like red that much anymore. Every time my parents bought a new vehicle it was red, red got old after a while. I do love the copper, its just reminds me of my old car. I do agree though that the copper pearl would look great on the SS.

Stripes will be pearl no matter what color I choose. If I'm gonna do it, I'm gonna do it right and have them painted so the appearance lasts. vinyl graphics fade and peel after a while, and I'v decided I wanna keep this truck in my possession for a while. I almost got rid of it for a TBSS but now that I'v got where I can drive it more I am having more fun with it than my old corvette. So if I'm having this much fun again with her stock I can't wait till everything gets done. I'm going to have everything done at once and was thinking late summer, but if GM doesn't get the damn LSX parts out I'm gonna freakin have to wait till fall or winter. I have over 90,000 miles on my stock motor now I wanna get the new motor in. EDIT: Is this what you guys were reffering to?

I love that color, but I can't drive a car that color...reminds me too much of this: I got hit headon by an electric truck in that car 2 years ago last month. Mr. P, as for your suggestion, that is another thing I thought about, except kinda reverse. A nice pearle white with orange stripes. I'll try and photoshop some white on there and see how it looks. As for the Orange being too light, I agree, it does need to darken up abit. more like this G35...being in Texas you may have seen this guy around.

Was checkin to see if anyone on here is from the Springfield/Willard area? I don't see many SS's here, but I'd like to find some locals to get together with for the legal streetracing the cops setup on kearney on saturday nights.

When the parts for my motor arrive and my motor gets pulled, I'm going to be repainting my truck since I cannot stand red vehicles. Only reason I opted for red is because it was the 1st one to come in when they hit dealers. After thinking of color Idea's I'v opted to go with a Stage II Pearle Orange because I love the way pearle orange looks. Now I'm stuck on one spot...What color accents with the orange. (Striping, wheels, badges). I'm thinking either silver stripes with polished SS badges and chrome wheels, or Black stripes, Black chrome badging, and black or gunmetal w/ polished lip for wheels. Opinions will be appreciated and I'll try and get some photoshops done to give an Idea of what they will look like.

Wow, glad I clicked this. I was thinking of doing dual SS tips and wasn't sure how it would look. Looks great.
