once in agreat while i do mx. i havent han any problems with my bike. the mods i have done to it are:JE 13.5:1 piston, hot cams(both intake exhaust) cdi box, pipe, k&n (open box), boyseen holshot pump, +2 i-shock front susp, +3 team axle. the bike is stupid fast .... i love it!!!!!! get the YFZ450 all the way. you wont regret it.oh yeah it also has the best power to weight ratio 350lbs dry
-
yeah it does, it gets good gas mileage better than the SS but the vp110 cost more per gallon than 91 octane
-
not a big fan of nerf bars
-
what do you guys think of my quad?
-
the gas is what cools the intank fuel pump so keep some gas in there or it will run hot
-
91 all the way for me. octane level is not going to hurt your fuel pump at all

welcome to the site and nice looking truck

for the record there is no such thing as a dumb question . getting a custom tune consists of basically letting the pcm(your trucks computer) know the changes you have done to the truck (intake, exhaust, cam, headers, stroker, etc... ) so it can perform very well. as far as the tuning, no you dont need to be GM certified, there are professional tuners, people who tune themselve, if you do a search you will find lots of information on tuning on this site
