  2. where is everyone buying their led's??? edit: nvm got them on ebay. Is 6500mcd for the 5mm and 5000mcd for the 3mm bright enough?? also in the video it look like you can not see the needles!?
  3. Sounds like to me they didn't use an interface.... Guess I am taking my truck apart when gf isnt looking. Was nice gift but wish she talked to me first....
  4. Weird I came to make same thread..... Subcribed
  5. to quote the shop: "the fully loaded GM trucks have issues when installing remote starts. the system will reset all the settings every time you press the remote start. therefor, our customers use 2 key fobs, one to enter and lock and one to remote start"
  6. sorry was away for a while...no internet 04 silverado ss AWD Brute force intake (think that is what it is called) long tube headers no cats delete rear 02's stock cat back (aftermarkets were too loud) 120K miles 2600rpm stall billet converter performabuilt level 3 trans large trans cooler zippy: i had a code for a MAF issue. forgot what it was. It cleared and never came back but i got a new one for 30 bucks so i put it on.... 02's had 120K on them, so i changed them. no codes it was due for plugs and wires the idle got better with these parts but still stumbles a little at idle. before it felt like it was about to stall
  7. While my girlfriend and i were out on a cruise, she had my truck equipped with a remote start system as a surprise. Its great but there is one problem, i need to carry 2 key fobs. is there a way to use a GM key fob to operate the remote start and the factory system? I have this system: http://www.avital.com/Products/Product.aspx?path=Remote%20Start%20System&id=5004

    Rough Idle

once again i need your help my truck has an idle problem. The idle is rather rough and gets close to stalling at times. I changed the wires installed the correct iridium plugs new MAF clean throttle body new front 02 sensors it got better but is still not smooth. I seafoamed the the truck and it seemed to help a little. any other ideas?
  9. helped termendously! Thanks alot. Got them on amazon for cheap
  10. thanks a lot! any idea on quality of percision hub bearings??
  11. hey guys, really dumb question but how many lugs are on our trucks? need new hubs and truck is all apart at home while i am at work also, how good are percision hub bearings (amazon) Thanks!

    Exhaust

The collector is fine and looks like your pic.... BUT There are 3 other sections of pipe that go inbetween the collector and the cat back. One runs straight back to the cat back one runs a little back then turns under the trans one goes from the one under the trans to the cat back All of those connections leak. They are pushed in all the way and good clamp was used but they still leak
  15. could it just be his door switch. does the interior lights go on/off with the door?

    Exhaust

So i have those ebay LT's, no cats, and stock exhaust (used to be way to loud) The Pipes from the collector to the stock cat-back leak like crazy. No matter how tight i get clamps, it still leaks with my luck the trans or something will blow and i will need to take this piping out eventually. Is it better the weld the seems? Will i ever be able to get it all out? Also, does exhaust leaks kill MPG??
  17. i think you mean 02 I could be very wrong but i dont think you can turn off front 02's. They are used to adjust the fuel trim. (could be wrong)
  18. and why in the world does the driver go up 1.5X or more faster than the pass. I got fed up and only put one up at a time. lol (mine also dims....)
  19. upstream = the front 02 sensor, before the cat, closest to the motor???? just making sure before i order
  20. hummmm PM me what price you can do. def throw you something as well for the troubles....

    02 Sensors

I have an 04' with 125,000 miles. I have long tubes and no cats and rear 02 deleted. When is it time to replace the front 02's ???? my fuel eco SUCKS and i was thinking since my intake is clean, throttle body is clean, the tuck runs well, it must be the 02's dropping my economy. (used to be 14-15 with me having fun driving, now it is down to 10-10.5) No CEL is on other specs: performabuilt level 2 2600 converter billet stock muffler (got really sick of loud truck) intake (forgot brand, AEM or something) MSD wires plugs done at 80K edit: wheatley tune
  22. as they break, upgrade. other than that, it is not worth it. FYI i have 115K and all mods are from crap breaking/ maintaince. Tires= $900 Brakes = $300 Plugs/wires = $100 Trans= 2-3K Diffs = $$$$$ Hubs= $200-300 All the little things that go wrong= $$$$ Keep the money for when it all breaks
  23. mine was 19K In 2006. Truck is a 2004 AWD and had 38,000miles. price is way too high, 14-15K is closer to a good price. Honestly, i would advise not getting a SSS.....
  24. Performabuilt level 3 trans Installed by a friends shop Me and the installer went under the truck and it appears to be the gasket in-between the trans and the transfer case. He said it is a flimsy gasket, but he has not seen one leak before. He will be replacing this week. Would it be better to use a gasket or RTV or something? Must have not sat right when they installed it and it broke....
  25. Will do! brand new trans so there should not bee to much dirt on that. I will be sure to get a pic as well When i noticed a spot (about 3" x3") i looked under the truck and saw the trans mount was dripping trans fluid. I got mad and took the 67 out to cool off.... Thanks for the suggestions/help. Will update ASAP
