Just got the latches in the mail, but no instructions I assume it's easy to switch them out, but don't want to break anything.

Call me crazy.......but after reading this I ran outside and dropped mine down from 39 to 34. The specs inside the door jam say 30.........so i'll try it at 34 and go from there.

I found that same piece on the floor just a couple weeks of owning my truck. Is it important?

I took it easy for the first 750 miles. Took it in for an oil change and differential fluid change. Service guy looked at me like I was crazy. After that, I let 'er rip!
