  1. I have an 02 elipse V6 that my wife putts around in. actually a pretty fun car to drive around the twisties in. otherwise i feel like peuking when it throttles up.
  2. i guess technically its not a "kit" drop spindles up front and shackles in rear. i bought nitro shocks all around but the fronts were wrong and after driving it for a couple of days now im just gonna return them. not needed. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> <{POST_SNAPBACK}> part numbers are: BEL-2508 - 2 inch drop spindles for the front - $222.39 for the pair BEL-6400 - 2 inch drop shackles for the rear - $47.95 for the pair I also ordered the nitro drop shocks but didnt install them and am going to return them as the truck rides sooooooooooooo much better already with stock shocks. ordered everything through summitt and it came in 2 days.

  4. brother! thanks that what i was looking for.
  5. here are some picks of my wheels. would like to sell and get them out of my garage. my riv is feeling crowded and i need to move my earnhardt box back into my garage anyways.[ attachmentid=4238]
  6. no mine is still about an inch higher in the back. if i can't live with it i think ill look into changing the leaf spring packs too. that would theoretically give you 4 inches in back but i don't know if the too are compatible.
  7. more pics now with the truck lowered. BEFORE AFTER pretty sure i'm happy with the appearance now. two things. zero rubbing and rides worlds better. im honestly shocked about both. time to move into the realm of horsepower. hooray.
  8. just thought i'd chime in about ride quality. i just dropped mine this morning with a 2/2 from belltech with drop spindles and shackles and the ride is 100 times better than stock. very smooth and the back end isn't as bouncy over bumps right now. i can't speak for the other kits but i am overwhelmed with the new ride i have. exceeded my expectations.
  9. id be interested in a few things. headers, exhaust, couple trim pieces and some more. hit me up cause im local. but good lucky selling it otherwise.
  10. thats awesome! considering i just bought my brand new 06 for less than that.
  11. i'd be interested in some parts if it doesnt work out. i am in san jose and could make the drive. let me know.
  12. couple pics of the new shoes. the church sign in the background purely a bonus.
  13. i hope not cause im lowering mine tomorrow with all of 900 miles on it.
  14. of a silver ss with charcoal gray or maybe black rallyes on this forum? thinking about doing this but would like to see something (other than blue white/black/white/red/black)?
  15. what part number did you use for the muffler? i was thinking about doing something similar.
  16. so yesterday i am at my buddies exhaust shop here in mountain view discussing exhaust of course and the flowmaster rep happens to be there. we get to talking and basically the jist of all this conversation was this: he "strongly" discourages using any 40 series muffler on newer computer controlled cars. his example was a video he showed me of an 06 hemi charger with dual 40 series flows that sounded great but performed like a teird. he actually says that the 40 series will choke off some power off the newer computer controlled engines. just a tidbit of information for anyone flowmaster users to ponder. soon to be "not flowmaster exhaust owner"
  17. well ive been here a couple of weeks and posted a couple of for sales' and question topics and just wanted to say that i am glad i traded my dodge in for an SS. ive always had the mod itch ever since my first car "69 fairlaine fastback" to my previous truck 01 dakota "kenne belle supercharged" to my new toy. only problem i have now is seperating enough money to finish my 69 bagged rivi and future mods on my SS. well two weeks down and about $8k in wheels/tires/tune/tint/etc for the SS, i guess the rivi can wait. glad to be a part of this forum.

  19. i just bought my new kmc jacks and five wheels today and want to sell my chrome 20's. they are on my truck but are essentially new as it only has 800 miles on it. tires are goodyear ls-a 275X55X20. again tires are basically new as well. going off a previous poster's asking price, with tires looking for $1200.00. not too sure i want to deal with shipping but if someone is interested and can help me through the process maybe we can work something out. pm me for more information. i havent added a pic but am assuming that it is fairly obvious what they look like. i am in the bay area of california.
  20. problem fixed. cleansweep was not synchor'd with factory amp. im happy again.
  21. it's time to upgrade my exhaust somewhat and i have a couple of questions for the sss experts out there. i am in california and would like to keep my ss emissions legal so i think long tube headers are out of the question. my exhaust guy has always promoted jba headers and that is what im leaning towards. he also says that the cats and exhaust all flow pretty well from the factory. but he said replace the restrictive muffler. i really want to keep the stock exiting exhaust setup and not have an exceptionally loud exhaust. thus don't really want to invest in a corsa or other type of catback setup. any recommendations on just mufflers that won't be ungodly loud? are the jba headers the way to go in california?
  22. the first major mod i've performed on my 06 SS was a total stereo upgrade. no alpine door speakers all around with built in tweeters up front. two 10 inch jl audio ws3 subs with stealth box under seat. two amps, both alpine...one powering door speakers and deck and one power only subs. (note: i did not change factory deck as i wanted a clean cabin look) oh the other thing is i have some deal im not familiar with called a jl audio cleansweep wich is supposed to be the shit but i dont even know what it does. my problem is this....at very low sound levels there is a constant buzzing and is very noticeable if i use the onstar button for phone or what not. my installer said that this is because there is a seperate amp power factory speakers/sub and that it does not interface with other amps. he says if i put in a new deck it will be a non issue. anyone else run across this problem or similar? i really don't want to gall up the display area. if necessary i guess ill will shell out the $1500.00 or so to get a touch screen display but that is a last resort. help me please!
  23. i posted some wheels earlier but my wife says it's time for this to go. i'm sure many of you are familiar with this tool box and i apologize for the lousy picture but the shop where it is located was jam packed with cars today. anyrate, i bought it new in 03 and used it for about 2 years when i was in the business. (sort of) it is in very good condition except that it is just not being used anymore. i paid $9,500.00 cash for it and have seen them sell for as much as $12,000 on ebay. am willing to take $7,500.00 for it as i could definately use the funds to build up my new truck. (i have a more suitable box anyways) again, i live in the bay area of california if you are interested. let me know and i can send more pictures for sure. this box has been sitting for about 1.5 years now at a friends shop and is pretty dusty. the pictures make it look worse than it is. it is in mint condition. thanks for looking!
