  6. Most aftermarkets are made to direct bolt on. Not sure about that 160. But with your set up a HO alternator doesnt seem necessary. Sent from Rezound using Tapatalk 2
  7. Truthfully I'm not sure and that's why I didn't specify. Hopefully someone from the other thread can give a response. Sent from Rezound using Tapatalk 2

  9. Well I recently bought a Truxedo Truxsport tonneau cover and I love it. Only problem is I bought two of them by accident. Company wants to charge me a 20% restocking fee and shipping it back is 50$. I paid 270$ for it. I don't plan on getting that back, but would like to get most of it. Asking 250$ shipped. OBO Thanks, Chase. Part# 281101 Fits all extended cabs 99-07. Sent from Rezound using Tapatalk 2
  10. I think someone posted a while back on this and the consensus was the door latch sticking that senses the door is open. The fix was to spray some wd40 or like product Sent from Rezound using Tapatalk 2
  11. Please do not add a capacitor. Spend your money on an extra battery and mount it in the secondary mounting location under the hood. Capacitors put more strain on your electrical. After the first hard hit that cap is going to be juiced and your electrical is going to be trying to catch up to toss another charge on it. Then that process is repeated. Not going to help voltage drop if your on a ride to work banging out. If you were to get a decent xspower, kinetic, or even optima battery it would be far more worth the money than a capacitor. It holds power better (obviously) and won't be drained on the first big thump. Thus making it easier on your electrical system while at the same time not giving you voltage fluctuations. Take it how you want. You can go on many of car audio forums and ask about a cap but you will get laughed at. Sent from Rezound using Tapatalk 2
  12. I run 14.4 all the time. I will never drop under 14 unless I have every light and draw I can put on the batt/alt on. Stock 145 amp alternator, optima red top, crescendo 1100.4 pushing only 400w rms off of it. I would recommend doing the big 3. All on 0/1 wire battery positive to alt, battery ground to chassis, engine ground to chassis, I also like to add in battery negative to engine. Spot on the bottom of the motor has this wire and its tiny. I am looking to do this also. Going with knukoncept wire. Sent from Rezound using Tapatalk 2
  13. 188* turn on temp 180* turn off temp is what blackbear set mine at so he said when I asked a while back. Sent from Rezound using Tapatalk 2
  14. So they would prob hang out a little if I did a 305 tire?
  15. Pioneer. I'm a double din fan. Sent from Rezound using Tapatalk 2
  16. That's what I'm wondering. If anyone can confirm it would be much appreciated. Wonder if that's the 30mm offset I wad looking at. Sent from Rezound using Tapatalk 2
  17. Will 10s hang out the side of the wheel well? I just don't want it to look tacky but I do love a fat ****ing tire. Sent from Rezound using Tapatalk 2
  18. I would also replace head unit first. It is still not going to solve your issue unless you also replace some speakers. Will improve it slightly but it is still going to sound like factory speakers. Factory speakers are made for the factory deck and the wattage its rated at. Once you do get a aftermarket head unit you will prob start clipping the factory speakers. Would recommend pioneer also. Sent from Rezound using Tapatalk 2
  19. I will add that I don't plan on dropping and my vmax sits just a tad higher than a stock ss I think. Sent from Rezound using Tapatalk 2
  20. You answered through the phone! Gonna have to null yours out.
  21. Going to be buying a set soon enough and wanted to see what everyone else usually gets when they go for 22" SSS Reps. 22x10 or 22x8.5. I have one opinion already and that is to go 8.5 instead of 10. Wanted to get a couple other opinions. Thanks guys!
  22. Until you zoom in on it...LOL Sent from Rezound using Tapatalk 2
  23. Damn rest of the world and their celcius! Sent from Rezound using Tapatalk 2
  24. It really just sounds like the diode to me. Passing power when its not suppose to. If you have it jumped from pin 85 on lows to pin 85 on highs and its the correct way which in guessing it is since it works somewhat then the diode is the only issue there. Hopefully someone can chime in with another solution. I know I'm running the radioshack ones. They say 4007 on them in small print. See if any of your radioshack ones are 4007 because that is the higher power ones. Wouldn't hurt to go spend the 1$ or whatever they are to try it. The ones your using now. What number do they have on them? Sent from Rezound using Tapatalk 2
  25. It was a snug fit and I had to make sure there was no deadening in where the clips went. Other than that it fit right on. I would not do sound deadening if its that cold. You will be out there with a heat gun forever. It doesn't want to stick when its cold and it will end up peeling. Sent from my ADR6425LVW using Tapatalk 2
