Welcome from just south of you in Mercer County. I'm running the same motor and 6-speed as you in my Sierra Denali. It is a fine setup!

One of the strangest looking things on the road.

I'm waiting until the last minute to commit to coming this year. I may have a conflict, so until I'm sure, I'm not signing up. I really hope I don't have a conflict. This is ALWAYS a good time!

We've met quite a few, between east coast meets in Long Island and NJ, GM Nationals in PA, Lebanon Valley Dragway fall events, and the Trailblazer SS / Silverado SS National event in Kansas City.

If Chevy brings out a new Silverado SS, I'll be so pissed that I didn't wait for it, and got the Sierra Denali instead. Not that I don't like the Denali, but... BTW: Thanks for the inside scoop!

I haven't been on the site for a week or so, so this is my first look at this. Another awesome build, Danny. I would never be able to handle all that wiring. You have my admiration!

That's not something Chevrolet would build. Mallett Cars does "conversions" of existing production cars. I think this has a kind of "kit car" look to it.

The 1st one was a "base" model with the Z51 package. All the stuff that was in the Z51 package is included on the Grand Sport, plus more.

Awesome. I love following a matching color theme. This works!

I used flat black, but that was because I was putting a powdercoated black billet grille over it. The mesh showed less that way. If you plan to leave the stock grille showing, probably gloss would look better.

Just an outside shot, but take a look on eBay. Might find something there. Updates usually come out annually, so you may even find an updated disc for that year vehicle.

Newer Z06's are hard to find. Production numbers went way down after the Grand Sport was introduced. The GS cut into the sales because other than the LS7, the GS has a lot of the Z06 features (wide body, big brakes, bigger wheels and tires, dry sump oiling on the LS3 with the manual trans, etc.) The GS still has a steel frame though, while the Z06 is aluminum and has more carbon fiber bits. Good luck with the search, Jeremy!

Current guesses (from what I've seen on the Corvette Fourum) is around $90K.
