  1. We meet in a restaurant parking lot just down the road from the track between 9:00 and 9:30 from what I recall. Shuan can confirm. It'll be good to see you again!
  2. I will probably be heading out after breakfast on Sunday morning. If all goes well, I will be heading over to see my daughter, and my new grandson for the first time!
  3. That's the tough choice I had... put more money into a 9 year old truck, or get something new. I went for the Denali. I'm still not sure if I made the right choice. I loved my SS, but no matter how much more I put into it, it would still be a 9 year old truck. It would be a very long time, if ever, for the SS to become collectible enough to make back the investment. You have to keep it strictly for the enjoyment of it, be happy with it, and not expect to get a lot back. Undoing all the mods before you sell it can be a lot of work too.
  4. That's why most people don't believe that the renderings are accurate. They think that it's unlikely that the Corvette would be made to look like the Camaro.
  5. Wow, triple post! I guess I have a VERY strong opinion!
  6. From what I've seen on other forums, most of the "guesses" as to what the next Corvette will look like have not been favorably received. Most of the comments go along the lines of "I'll keep my C6". Personally, I can't wait to see the first REAL photos to see how close or far off the projections have been. But, I think I'll keep my C6. From what I've seen on other forums, most of the "guesses" as to what the next Corvette will look like have not been favorably received. 7. Shuan, I was happy with my UnderCover tonneau. In fact, I put one on the Denali as well. It is very strong and secure. It's easily removable, but it does require 2 sets of hands. Only thing is, you have to change the tailgate cap to a non-spoiler type. I did that, and the part was only about $20.00. I saved the spoiler tailgate cap and sold it with the truck, in case the guy wanted to put it back. I have seen lots of good options on the site though, and I'm sure guys will chime in with other suggestions. Maybe you'll luck out with one for sale!
  8. I sold the SS and got a Sierra Denali, not HD. 6.2L, 403HP, 6-speed, beautiful truck. But you know what? It's no SS. There was something special about that truck.
  9. I called the Villager Motel this morning and made my reservation. The woman I spoke with didn't know anything about the group being there, but I guess that doesn't matter. Im in!
  10. If you saw the movie "The Other Guys", Mark Wahlberg had a line something like "Riding around in a Prius is like riding around in a big vagina."
  11. When I had my SS, the steering wheel was off a little to the left (an inch or two). After I had a wheel alignment done, it was fine. So, I'd say have your alignment checked before you pull the steering wheel. That might not be the actual problem!
  12. It's been many years since I was there, but Bar Harbor, Maine was a beautiful place to visit.
  13. I had a CAI and a PCM4Less tune in my SS. My Sierra Denali is stock. Just by the seat of the pants, the Denali feels a bit faster. I ran a 14.59 with my SS; haven't run the Denali yet. I don't think it has 4.10 gears, though. I'm pretty sure it's 3.42, as mentioned. It's a really nice truck, but I also can't say that I like it more than my SS.
  14. Yes, there is a replacement shaft available, but it's so easy to do the "shaft manipulation" method, I never bothered. Unbolt the intermediate shaft, push it in and out toward the firewall 10 or so times, and rebolt it. Just be sure the steering wheel doesn't rotate. Easy stuff. Good luck!
  15. OMG! Look at my new sig! My SS, my Denali, and my Corvette! Great work. Thank you so much!
  16. Mr. JDDMJ is working on a new sig for me. Looking forward to the results. He obviously does awesome work!
  17. Awesome Zach! Glad everyone is doing well!
  18. Nice, Jeff. Good luck with it. Jackie is still PO'd at me for trading in her Forester for the Terrain. No good deed goes unpunished.
