  1. Have a look here as well, Brad. No part number, but I searched down as far as 2006 Silverado SS sunvisor: http://store.gmparts...hicleid=1432402
  2. For those considering this grille or one like it, you might want to consider spraying the original SS grille flat black to minimize it showing behind the overlay. I had installed it first without painting, and wasn't real happy. I liked it a lot more after I removed it, applied the flat black, and re-installed. You might want to save yourself the effort.
  3. Funny... "Campagn and Navy Blue with Blue Cloth Interior". Maybe one of the presidential candidates could use it for transportation on the "campaign" trail.
  4. I believe the smoke occurs when you do the procedure to suck the Seafoam in through the PCV hose.
  5. I only ever used it in the gas tank too. I never "smoke bombed" the neighborhood.
  6. Vacation is done for this year. :-( That's why I said I'd try to make whatever date is selected. Thanks!
  7. I don't have an SS anymore either! Going to see the friends we've made over the years is more important!
  8. My vote is in, but I'll try to be there regardless of which date is selected.
  9. I had never heard of a Silverado RSR, so I looked it up. Here's what I found: The Chevy Silverado RSR was built by Choo Choo Customs (a subsidiary of LA Customs and Legen Motors Worldwide) The RSR Stage I featured: * 350 HP SLP Performance Pac * 1.85 Ratio Rocker Arms * Cold Air Induction System * Custom Tuned PCM Programmer * Stainless Steel Headers * Stainless Steel Exhaust * Front, Lower Body Facia w/Driving Lights * Body Color-Out Grille Accents * Painted Door Handle Covers * Exterior RSR Badging * Rear Bumper Facia * 2" Lowering Package * 20" Custom Wheels and Tires Stage II added: * Simulated Cowl Induction Hood * Power Sport Mirrors * Taillight Covers * Soft Tonneau Cover * Performance Tuned Suspension Stage III added: * Custom Instrument Cluster * Custom Leather Steering Wheel * Two-Tone Custom Leather Seating * Carbon Patterned Interior Trim * Interior RSR Badging They came in either Yellow or Orange. Do you know which stage you have? Regardless, nice deal!
  10. I had mine 7 years, Brad, and I said the same things. I sure do miss it, though. Good luck with the sale.
  11. Congratulations! I'm going to be a grandpa for the first time in September, so the excitement of having a newborn coming is renewed for me again. Enjoy the happiness!
  12. Nice job, Mark. Thanks for including my truck!
  13. Yes, it says on it what class you are in, etc.
  14. I plan to be there by 9 on Saturday morning.
  15. The longer latches worked for a lot of people. I wasn't so lucky. I've read where some people that didn't want to permanently seal the windows shut used a bead of Vaseline (or something like it) around the whole window / weatherstripping, and that helped. I think some others added an additional layer of thin weatherstripping on top of the existing factory weatherstripping, and that worked. I just gave up and lived with the wind noise. :-) Edit: The issue generally only exists on the passenger side. Strange.
  16. I installed the longer replacement latches, but they helped very little on my truck.
  17. Nice! I'll start cleaning the Denali this weekend. I don't want to be too embarassed with all of those awesome SS's there. :-)
  18. I think it is Gate 3 where we enter, and our spot is just inside and to the left. Maybe somebody can verify my recollection...
