  1. And while that is being fixed, maybe the Garage can make its return with a few other tweaks?
  2. Rockhead (Mark) and I attended the KC meet. It was a great turnout, and we made a lot of new friends. Tony did a great job of organizing it. Other than rainy weather, it was a really good time.
  3. I saw the C&D "pictures" as well. I think they are still only renderings. Nobody has an actual picture yet. We'll probably plan to go to the Philadelphia Auto Show to have a look. It will have been unveiled already in Detroit on 1/13, and probably will be on display in Philly.
  4. It's amazing how many people are saying they don't like the new C7, when ACTUAL PHOTOS haven't been seen yet, only renderings. Some look good, some not so good. I'm looking forward to seeing the real thing in person before forming an opinion. That being said, I was only so-so on the looks of the C6 when it came out, and here I am on my second one!
  5. I've been off the computer for a few days... belated Merry Christmas... and Happy New Year!
  6. That truck looks nice! Good luck with it!
  7. For a lot of us in the NY / NJ area, this is bad news. It wasn't the best track around, but often you could get lots of runs in on a test & tune day. Only Atco and Englishtown left in NJ now. http://bangshift.com...k-ass-news.html Edit: BTW, read the article. There was some history made there!
  8. Alaska was a great place to visit (in August, by the way), but I would find it difficult to live there. NY / NJ has enough snow for me, and i'm happy when there is none! Hope this isn't a preview of your whole winter (or ours for that matter!).
  9. It certainly is not the total redesign I was expecting. I'll wait until I see some in person before I decide how much I like or hate it. I also hope this isn't a parallel to the upcoming Corvette. They're generating a lot of discussion and excitement over it. If it's not significantly diferent and better, it may be a disappointment as well. We'll see...
  10. I'm still around too. Truck is gone, but I still hang out here. Good to see you back!
  11. Happy Birthdays to Mark and Tim! Mark and I did some celebrating on Saturday. Sunday, I rested!
  12. Congratulations! Jeff... maybe after the Corvette is broken in enough to race!
  13. After meeting at a memorial service for Davy, Mickey, Peter, and Mike decided to do a tour together. Only 15 dates, nationwide. My daughter in Florida is coming up for the NJ show with her boyfriend.
  14. We have tickets to see the surviving Monkees (Mickey, Peter, and Mike) on November 30, in New Jersey. I saw them (Mickey, Peter, and Davy, and of course no Mike) years ago on Long Island, and was pleasantly surprised how good they were. My sister was a huge fan when they were first on, and then both my daughters loved them in reruns. I was never that much of a fan until I saw that Long Island performance. Looking forward to this show on the 30th.
  15. Awesome, Brad! Does it have the dual mode exhaust also? A word of advice (from personal experience): That long, low nose can scrape on driveways and such, unless you go in at an angle. That's not that big a deal, since the air dam is flexable, and easily replacable when necessary. But BEWARE of parking stops, and curbs. They will hit the lower part of the bumper itself and scratch the paint. I almost always back into spots now, because even after having the car for a while, it is difficult to judge. When backing in, you almost always leave more than enough space, since the tail is so short. Good luck with that beauty!
  16. Good luck with the sale, Chad. I sold mine off Craigslist. Took a few weeks, but be patient if you can. It will go. Edit: Wow, my truck is parked next to yours in the one GM Nationals shot.
  17. Best of luck with the next project, Brad.
  18. I spoke with Zane and Josh up at Lebanon Valley Dragway in September, and they do plan on bringing back the garage. The vendor of that software is different than the site software, so it's an additional upgrade. Once they do it, they have all the data to restore, so nothing should be lost. I'm looking forward to that, because I put a lot of work into listing all my mods there, and adding pictures as well. It's good information to be able to pass along to other owners.
  19. I used MSD in my truck. I had the part number in "My Garage" modifications list, but the Garage isn't up yet in this new version of the site. I got them at Summit's web site. I also used Taylor wires in my Corvette. Both brands worked good for me. Edit: MSD has the custom fit. Taylor probably does as well.
  20. I'm sure glad I got to see it in person last year. The new owner must be very happy. It's a hell of a vehicle!
