This was posted on the Corvette Forum as well. Many owners there have dealer horror stories about damages to their cars while at the dealer. One of the most common is damage to the fiberglass rocker panels when the car is lifted without jacking pucks or not at the proper lifting points. Sometimes it's a lack of technician training, sometimes a lack of common sense, or as in this case, it's "I just don't give a sh!t". Really bad...

Build your own SS!

We are getting raped! In contrast, I read an article about the elections in Venezuela that took place over the weekend. They are paying 24 cents per gallon for gasoline! And here's a surprise, one of the country's major problems is traffic congestion. Meanwhile, half the country doesn't have enough food. That is seriously messed up.

Congratulations and good luck!!

I had my Sierra Denali one week, and ordered a Corsa Sport exhaust for it. After the SS, it was just too quiet. I generally don't go for major modifications, just enough to make me happy.

Congratulations, guys!

Saw it last night. I thought it was an SS right away, but wasn't sure. Now I am!

Mark... that picture of Elvis is awesome. Never saw that one before.

I have had 2 Garmins, and would recommend the Nuvi. I have had a Nuvi 360 for years now. I also periodically perform the map updates from their web site.

Nice to see you stop by! Hope all is well.

Congratulations, Butch!

I had my SS for 7 years. I'd do it again in a heartbeat. Unless you know the complete history of your truck, don't be too quick to judge based on the condition of a 9 year old vehicle. As stated above, it could be worn out, abused, whatever. If you know that your truck has been properly cared for, then that's another thing. Nevertheless, a 9 year old vehicle is bound to need some repairs for things that have worn out. Mine did, and I never abused it.

I'm going shopping tonight for the stuff I'm bringing. Already have the beer, paper plates, plastic utensils, S&P, etc. No cheese balls yet! :-) I did a test to be sure I can fit everything in the back of the Corvette. No worries! -

Driving used to be a pleasure, and fun. Now, especially in the northeast, it's a chore, and literally dangerous. From what I see, enforcement of traffic laws is ZERO.

It was on the first post... Address of the meeting spot Ruby Tuesday 600 Rockhill Drive Bensalem PA

I think they'll look good on the SS. Like you said, you'll need different center caps. Here's a pic of them on my black Denali. Since my truck doesn't sit as low as an SS, they'll probably even look better on the SS.

Let's hope...
