Prestoar
Hey Vortec Max, could you give me an address for Pace and would you mind me asking what your GM Performance intake cost? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> same pls
Vortec MAX
Well I bought the kit at Pace, so the price they have is what I paid. It was the cheapest I could find. I tried five different sources. Here is the link. 17801346 - 2001-07 Fullsize GM Pick-ups & SUVs with 4.8L, 5.3L & 6.0L (w/ RPO Code LR4, LM7, LQ4, LQ9, L33,and L59) Mike
stevebbb
That is a good price. GM parts direct is $361.
haulin79
DylanSS, where are the dyno/gtech result photos that you had up here?: http://www.silveradoss.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=9863 The outlawpower system is now available with the NeverOil filter media in addition to the traditional cotton. http://www.outlawpower.com/productdetail.php?sc=1274 The K&N plastic and metal intakes are not the same, K&N claims different HP/Tq gains for each: FIPK57 - 11.92 HP @ 5367 RPM 77 Kit - 8.44 HP @ 5337 RPM The above numbers and dyno charts are available from the K&N website. KissMySilvSS
I think Volant and Outlaw are the best out there. I have the Volant system and love it. It's a bitch to install though.....bolting the MAF to the box is a pain, everything else is a breeze...
