Porno Joe
I got the dual gauge setup when RevRaceWorks ran the group buy and I did not run a separate power wire for mine- I am using the OBDII port for power, and it works fine except for the few times when it does not turn off, but that is not often. and it does not cycle as dylan's gauge is doing. sprayed99
I just wish he was more responsive or gave me a number to call... I got his PM with the return address, but I want to know if I should send everything including the cable or just the gauge.... I'd prefer not to have to pull the cable after I routed it so nicely and zip tied it into place. I replied to him, but still no response. you need to return the cable as well because the problem may be with the cable.

Sorry to join this thread a bit late. I also got a single gauge when Frank ran the GP. I too plug only into the OBD-II port. No separate power wire. When I start the truck, the gauge comes on in about 15 seconds or so. It also takes about that long to power off when I turn the truck off. The only time I ever saw it stay on was when I turned the truck off, but only turned the key to the "Accessory" position to leave the radio playing. I seem to remember it stayed on until I switched to "Off".
shakesvho
I can't get to my truck till next week to put mine in, is there anyone from this GB that has the duel setup and is working ok, I do notice on one of my gauges some tiny trash bits under the clear and before the gauge, it looks like paper and it moves around when you tap the clear cover I was just wondering if all the gauges/harness maybe having problems Edited October 31, 2007 by shakesvho (see edit history)
rivierakid55
from the sound of it the older ones like i have had to be tapped into a key on source. maybe the newer ones do not.

shakesvho
I'm with you. I wasn't going to put them in right away but now I almost think I should. I can't do this right now,(at less 2 weeks) but if you could plug them in a try them and report back that will help, if everyone is having a problem i'm going to sent mine back to fix the one that has something in between the clear and the gauge face and recheck the other and harness Edited October 31, 2007 by shakesvho (see edit history)
