fast4popper Posted April 22, 2009 Author Report Share Posted April 22, 2009 thanks for the compliments guys. i do know last night some of the smaller things recieved 3 coats of color and 6 coats of clear. tonight the bed gets colored... need less to say, i am just a lil more than excited! fast4popper Posted April 23, 2009 Author Report Share Posted April 23, 2009 A few more pics for you guys to look over... notice the mask this time? front bumper, bed cladding, grill, cowl, are all complete. as i type this, its in the spray booth gettin color. cant wait to get there after work to see how she looks! updated thread, and completed pics coming soon... the hood and tailgate should be painted this weekend, then assembly, polish and clean like a MOFO! and and dont worry bout the new windshield, accidents happen... Just curious, why are you getting the bed cladding painted? i am painting the whole truck! i dont know if you have ever noticed, but our cladding and our bodys are different colors. one color, one bucket... now it all matches. did that answer you? other wise give me more detail of what you mean? fast4popper Posted April 24, 2009 Author Report Share Posted April 24, 2009 welp. other than the hood and tailgate. she's painted! what a late night, 1:30 is when i got home this morning. i cant be happier with what i saw last night once the clear coat fumes cleared. here are some pics. OH and the SS you see in the paint is the white Cady Escalade Pearl. lemme know what you think, it will make the Iowa meet tomorrow. today after work i get to assemble and clean. I will get pics as i go, but cant wait til i get it polished next week. it paid off, its sick, the whole product is just what i pictured, clean, SSmooth, SShaven, and just one step beyond the NORM... enjoy the pics. real camera pics to come soon.
