Josh, -It seam that I have to scroll over to read some threads, move all vendors over to the right hand side.... -Spell check would be cool -Garage on header? -Open chat in a new window? -Smiles you know about.... -It would be nice to get the bow ties back instead of the blue squares -Make the main page and following font larger? Hard to read, to small...... -Have perf vendors like TByrne, picture will link all the same size.....Saint Paluleys and other all should be the same size..Standardize....Like LS1Tech on the right hand side top or bottom of pages.... -I like LS1Tech search........ WisconsinSS Posted September 10, 2004 Report Share Posted September 10, 2004 My 2 cents, I love my SS it is an awesome looking ride. Faster than a non SS. Certinly fast enough for legal driving and Jeff and crew have proved can be fast enough for the track with some mods. I like the compliments I get around town about it. I like that it can hold its own in a car show. Sure the power of a SRT would be cool but I would not be able to use it any where with out a ticket. It will be coming. -Chat in new window. we may go back to the popup -Smilies/Bowties - hopefully mervz is on by the end of the day -picture gallery pictures - this is an option i am looking at. probably will be coming soon. old page header - please give me more information screen size etc. Noone above 800x60 should have to scroll to the right. What I would like to see is a rumor section or better yet hard facts on dates, what’s coming next for the SSS, etc. I was at the Brickyard 400 in Indianapolis and checked out the SS they had there and was sold on it right then and there. The only problem was that no one would give me a date on first, when I could order it as well, as when I could expect it at the dealership. Since I got home I’ve had my local dealership (well the one 100 miles away since the one in town was a jerk to even talk to) try and order it and guess what…finally last Friday (9/6) it showed up on the product list for vehicles to be ordered and I got my order in. I have heard that they will be making 15,000 (read it online at pickuptruck.com I believe) or 7,000 (guess or rumor of a GM product specialist at Indianapolis) so not sure if there is an official number yet or not. My 2 cents on the SS…No it isn’t going to match the performance of the lightning and although I would like to see a supercharger on it, I still really want to get one. I’m not buying an AWD extended cab pickup to blow the doors off of everything out there (buy a dang performance car if you absolutely need speed and performance); I’m just willing to pay $3,000 or $4,000 over the price of a loaded Silverado to get the options of the SS. Finally, I will never buy a regular cab pickup no matter the performance and where I live (northern states) you have to have a 4 wheel drive if you want to get around in the winter. Let's think about what "SS" means.... Hmmmm....looks like GM will be wasting this badge on yet another poor performance vehicle (wimpala, monte carslo).
