Dan for a few extra bucks I would go for the IWIS timing chain also.

You can also get the summit UPD that is made by Powerbond and its SFI approved.

43 bucks for a timing chain is pretty damn cheap for added preventative maintenance. oil pumps are cheap enough as well. but im sure you got this all thought out by now danjamin. :thumbs:

If you are going to do the oil pump, buy the newer DOD/VVT oil pump being it has larger rotor gears and has a increased volume.

I agree. That pump is the best thing since sliced bread. The volume capacity can't be matched with the smaller pump. When I do my 408 that's the pump I'm going to. I wouldn't recomend the under drive pulley though.

You wouldnt recommend a UPD at all or just the summit one?

I am staying with the stock oil pump, there is really no need to change it. I will also stick with the stock timing set........which I will inspect during the swap. Do you not recommend a UDP at all Zippy or just the Summit one? :huh:
