  1. Welcome to the site. I sure hope you can locate one. I have only seen a total of 6 the whole time I've had mine here in Memphis. Maybe I hang on the east side too much! Get the cleanest one you can find and enjoy. CD
  2. Problem with your scanner not working may be related to a blown fuse from the Cig lighter, if I remember right. I know that you said all fuses were good, but check that lighter out and go from there. Good Luck CD
  3. Well guys, as many know, we here in Memphis had a spell of cold weather and snow. Last night it was about 10 degrees. So I go out and start the truck this morning like I always do to let it warm up. After 5 to 7 minutes it is time to head out. I notice a different squeaking noise as I get in the truck and just thought it was the heater fan. Out the drive way and around the corner when the squeak turns into a Squeal. I stop and pop the hood to find the KB charger has LOCKED UP! So I shut her down and walked back home to get the wife’s car. I get home early and remove the belt and drive, with no power steering, back home, just and 1/8 of a mile. For sure I find the charger pulley will barely turn. I check the oil on the Kenne Bell and find it is low, my bad. So the story here is never run low on SC oil when it is 10 degrees. Tomorrow my neighbor and I will remove the SC and ship it to KB for a rebuild, they say $700 to start and will let me know the real damages after an inspection. Looks like I will looking for ride to work for a couple of weeks. With only 42,000 miles on the unit I don't expect much to be replaced except bearings. Just sharing life in Big M town. CD
  4. I have had the same problems for at least 3 years. I tried to remove the blower, but only got so far. It is a little tough for a big man to get to. Mine had trash and leaves that probably caused the problem. Good luck CD
  5. I love my Nitto's 420's Stock size on stock rims CD
  6. Glad you are back and Thanks for your Service. Have a Blessed Holiday. CD
  7. Check out this thread from another forum Knock Sensors It may help you decide if you can handle this job or need help. It is not too bad, but you do need to torque the intake correctly or you will have a leak there next. Good luck. CD
  8. Hey Bill, It is good to see that you are still moding and having fun. Sweet times for the big Truck for sure. Do you have any plan for Boost? Take care CD
  9. Krambo is saying to do BOTH while you are into it. Very good advice if you have the cash. Look at Circle D, PI or Yank for a torque conveter. Good luck CD
  10. It should have 9N in the middle of the #. Also check the glove box sheet, it should have SS in the list. CD
  11. You can also check out FLO-PRO. No drone with mine EBAY Pro Flo CD
  12. Be sure and check the VIN # . It should have 9N in the middle to be a real SS. CD
  13. You may want to try doing a series of figure 8's and see if this makes any changes. This would distribute the fluids in the front and rear diffs. I don't have this problem on my 03 with 40,000 miles Good Luck CD
  14. I think that we will need a bit more info to be able to help you. What type of supercharger do you have. Can you post at picture of the setup? CD
  15. I second that! The folks at FLT are the best to deal with. They do just what they say they will do. I have been to their shop and it is very nice. CD
  16. I also use Water Wetter, seems to work well to let things cool off quicker. CD
  17. It would be my guess that you are trying to cure a problem the wrong way. If you are getting KR, then something is wrong. I do know that Zippy is one of the better tuners around here. I would suggest that you work closely with him on how to work this out. It could help to add some Meth as a trouble shooting tool to see if the KR is true or false. It could also be helpful to know more about the weather conditions as you are logging.. A tune that works well in 100 degrees might not be the best in the AK temps. Zippy has been through the temp swings coming from MI, he knows how to handle these issues. I hope this gives you some food for thought, wish I knew more about tuning so I could throw more real help to you. Maybe Krambo can weigh in with some thoughts. Good luck on fixing the issue. CD
