I recently got my AMD cowl hood painted and installed at a body shop. One of the employees is converting his Tahoe to SSS front. He loves the AMD hood but hasn't got the bucks for it right now. He wants to buy my OEM hood. Anyone have a good idea what my OEM hood should be worth? It needs paint but no damage other than that. Thanks.

It's great that you got to take your truck to a shop you've got such a long history with. Sounds like a great friendship you've got with them.

It's great to find a body shop that you have confidence in. Knowing that they give a crap, do good work, and ain't trying to rip you off is worth a lot.

If I was young enough to pay off a new truck I might consider it, but I ain't. Congrats on your new truck. Tech has sure advanced since the SSS was introduced. I'm certain that your new truck is awesome. (I see that you stuck with red)

Randy ruffled some feathers, (On the wrong birds), but he also presented some real world observations on a lot of aftermarket parts for our trucks.
