  1. Your profile doesn't state where you are but something like this could be an option. http://www.silveradoss.com/forums/topic/90085-wrecked-2003-sss-for-sale-salvage-or-donor/
  2. My thought is that unless you have a very effective ram set up on your air intake you are not going to supply highly pressurized air to the TB. (I've never heard of a problem like this in a manufactured "ram air" set up.) I think that it is far more likely that you have something loose in the system that is vibrating when the air passing over it gets to a high enough velocity, or you have a loose vacuum or pipe to fitting joint somewhere in the set up.
  3. Think about loosening and backing off all vacuum hoses and the intake tube and coating the fittings where those hoses seat up with a small amount of heavy grease. (I know; it could get messy), this would temporarily seal those spots. If that solves the squeal then think about replacing the grease with silicone. Without actually working on the truck that's about all I can come up with. Have you pulled your plugs, (looking for a lean running plug), to make sure it's not an intake gasket leak? A potential problem with pressurizing the intake is that at least one cylinder's valves will be open and so I'm not sure how much luck you will have with that.
  4. Sounds like a frustrating problem to figure out. Can you make it happen in park with the hood up? Is there any way to pressurize the intake with compressed air to make it possible to search for leaks without running the motor? Last but not least; Are you sure it's not belt squeal? (Just to mention the simplest possibility.) Best luck with your search.
  5. Hey Mike, Welcome to the site. Sorry it's under these circumstances. You would likely make more money by parting the truck out. It will help your sale if you give an idea of what you want for the truck and where you are located. Best luck with your sale.
  6. In your face hood cruiser. I like the color, but not on my SS. Wheels make the discs look even smaller than they are. (I'm no fan of tires with no side wall anyway.) Hate the gangster grill and the gangster ornaments in the cab. I sort of like the seats but not in that color truck. I agree with Richard; "I'm glad it's not an SS". Someone did some nice work on it they just should have put bigger brakes on while they were at it.
  7. Congratulations on finding your truck Alex. The black ones are the fastest color.
  8. It is a roughly 2 inch X 3 inch square to the immediate right of the license plate on the rear bumper. Between the plate and the right side tag light assembly. If it's gone you've got a hole there.
  9. Good luck with your sale and truck hunt.
  10. Here's some reading for you. http://www.silveradoss.com/forums/topic/60471-hydroboost-parts-list/?hl=hydroboost http://www.silveradoss.com/forums/topic/71799-adding-featurespower-adjustable-pedals/ http://www.indianatruckscene.com/forum/showthread.php?t=221 https://www.performancetrucks.net/forums/gm-drivetrain-suspension-22/hydroboost-conversion-install-417445/ Some missing pic's in this one but good info, still. http://www.silveradoss.com/forums/topic/79700-hydro-boost-questions/?pid=883734&do=findComment&comment=883734 I may have linked this one already, but you'll figure it out. http://www.gmfullsize.com/threads/hydroboost-install-how-to-with-pics.156800/Ha Happy reading.
  11. Can you say DOMINATION?? 10 to 15 SECONDS over second place for the last 50 laps or so. Restart master. Can't help but wish it was a bow tie on his grill but you can't have everything I guess.
  12. Lowering will make it easier for the girls to get to the pole, right? Updated pics when you get a chance.
  13. Sweet! That ought to wake her up.
  14. WOW!! She's brand dam new. Best luck with your sale. But I don't think it will take much luck.
  15. Congrats on getting your truck Killa. Put a time lock on your wallet.
  16. Here's a link to the one I got. (Not sure about the "Primed" claim. It looks like bare plastic to me.) It will take some filling to match the finish of my OEM part. It does look like an OEM part. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Jack-Access-Cover-Chevrolet-Silverado-SS-03-06-PRIMED/141888887093?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649
  17. I've never heard of Mevotech and considering what is dependent on your front end staying together, I personally wouldn't even search for reviews of Mevotechs quality. I would just buy Moog and be done with it. But that's just me. My passengers and my own safety is worth the hassle of buying known quality pieces one at a time if that's the way it's got to be, and paying the price for those parts. I wouldn't stress the least bit about not finding a Moog all in one "kit".
  18. Thanks Brother. I'll be around a while too. I don't do much social media so these old school sites are "it" for me. My biggest worry as far as this site slowing so much is the wealth of knowledge about the trucks that could be lost.
  19. I found these on Rock Auto when I was rebuilding the brakes on my 03. I have no idea whether or not Rock Auto will ship to Belgium. Best luck with your search. http://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/chevrolet,2004,silverado+1500,6.0l+v8,1427565,brake+&+wheel+hub,brake+backing+plate,1628 If I remember right; The aftermarket, (Dorman), makes this shield a two piece part so that you don't have to remove the axle to replace it. EDIT; Went back and checked the page again. Dorman part # 924222 is a two piece assembly.
  20. Welcome to the site Derek. It's good to have a list on here, of available parts. I just got a spare tire access cover from your ebay listing the other day. How about a link to your store?
