  1. Not bad at all imo. Some costly fixes yes, but you should also look into the clear wrap they put on vehicles so the bumpers/hoods dont chip on the highway from rocks if your going to be getting new parts, that way they will stay perfect. To do the whole front end in that clear wrap is about 800-1000 but well worth it. Glad to hear your ok.
  2. Saw a black SS truck across Meadow Pond in the Northbridge and Whitinsville area. Appeared completely stock 03-04. Truck had a Vietnam Veteran sticker on the rear windshield. Doubt this is a member here but maybe a lurker....I was not in my truck.
  3. No problem man, I havnet purchased a system yet as the truck is stored and I have to buy all new brakes and a complete overhaul on filters, fluids, tires, and get it to a paint guy to make her shine like out of the showroom again. Their is a used Corsa I want to purchase, but had to collect a certain part that was a great deal on here. Im also facing more surgeries so Im not even sure if I will be able to drive it this year. No point to drop little over 2 grand to only drive it in the fall (recovery for the arm is awhile). Please when you get the time put up the vid. Ive checked out the XR-1s on the website and its a good deal. If somehow I dont need surgery my truck should be up late spring, so theirs plenty of time to get the video. Thank you for keeping me in mind about the situation, very much appreciated.

Cleanest SS in MA no doubt.
  5. 03 might be the most desirable year model SS. As are usually the 1st year model of new model vehicles, except for the kinks that needed to be worked out (intermediate driving shaft, cluster). Similar to the 1988 325iX bmw and 1991 325iX (those awd bmws kill the newer awd 325xi-335xi). It seems the first and last years are most desirable and if maintained like stated, I would hold out only for top dollar. Seems like its a gem. All stock?
  6. money hungry diggers donkey lovers (if McGahee doesnt get hurt like last time vs the Pats) fudge packers Benedict Arnold Ravens
  7. Just remember the DJM's dont fit with a Corsa exhaust Irish brawler

Thanks Taylor, I was just about to check out how you were doing with finding a shop for your truck. Try PMing Fireman31, hes on LI but might be able to help you out with a spot to repair. All other NY members I can only remember are in upstate NY
  9. Corsa Sport (little over $700). I dont think you will need a tune yet, unless you go deeper into mods. I would do a tune, cai and beef the tranny up after the Corsa, then a tune will benefit you most. More supporting mods, more the tune helps. You have a rwd truck so a dyno would be good, but the tune is only as good as the tuner himself
  10. LEP has some nice engine setups sorry to hijack thread
  11. Looks great but you have to worry about being out of town. I know a cop who had a 454SS and didnt want the front plate on it, but the next town over nabbed and made him put it on.

Any idea where your buddy got the silverado ss sticker for the windshield? Ive been looking for that specific one and no luck......trucks look great together.
  13. Yes buddy!!! Theyskyline's were so hyped. This will be a big video on youtube imo. Great kill on the ricer.
  14. stick with the gmpp intake and a Corsa cat back or Borla exhaust. Corsa use to be Chevys aftermarket exhaust but now its Borla. The intake is a completely sealed un-oiled filter so if you want to sell someday you have all GM endoresed products. Hell if you sell let me know.
  15. I will be honest your the one talking big, not 1sttexan. Im not taking sides but look at what you just typed to him...and the 07 is not leftover parts. Some are the DEI SS leftovers labeled classic and some are from the factory. Dont start a fight you cant back up unless you can prove his truck is made out of leftover parts. Edit-And to ask him to say it to your face? wtf? we are brotherin here, not enemies. He has an 07 SS, its more rare than yours face the facts. Stop trying to be Mr. superthug seriously. Members like you drive away the old school members because you have a serious attitude.
  16. My belly is getting bigger by the day
  17. I believe Captain Obvious has an 07, but this is 4am in the morning blabber. My 03 has grey grilles.... As far as the 1 out of 100 yes it is desirable. I do believe their were other SS trucks made that year like I said 4 in Canada and some in Ohio but I cannot back this info up. If you look on ebay the grilles for auction are black on the 06-07s. As always it is possible to customize them so who knows.
  18. Already blew my goody money on a mirror. But if this is still around in early February considered it bought.
  19. I love Ford. I should be dead in multiple different ways from a car accident (gunpowder in the mouth from the airbag, broken neck, should have went through the windshield into a telephone, brain trauma/damage). The Ford Explorer frame saved my life no question. Drs cant believe how I survived but I did, so I am here for some reason. If I had a work truck itd be a Ford 2005 6.0 powerstroke F-250.
  20. I think its pathetic it took the other big 2 9 years to build a truck that can keep up with our SS (putting the SVT Lightning and SRT-10 Ram aside). The one thing that has caught my attention lately is that most chevy trucks around me are lowered but their z-71 pakcages, wtf? Saw 3 today. One in town with a Corsa tip but stock cat back....
  21. My dealership told me it was jammed. Could be misaligned like stated. If you want the stock radio still, I would just do the dealership or if some audio shop can help you out. When mine was fixed I had to listen to the cd that was jammed in their (I drove the truck home and the 6 disc was jammed the night I drove home my truck).I have to say it was pretty funny listening to techno music from the previous owner who was a man of the law.
  22. He's going to rid that shitstang and come back with something else maybe, or at least thats what I would do. Great kill part 2
  23. Had the same happen to me. Had to replace my stock radio/cd changer system and they fished out the previous owners cds. After a new 6 cd radio nothing but cool sailing. If you have a warranty just go for it. Otherwise maybe aftermarket is your answer.
  24. Just like Matt said, try new fluids in the front diff and check to see If the metal shavings are their. Might be time for a rebuild. If it were me in your situation, I would stick with the exact same oil hoping its synthetic. How many miles you have on it? You dont see cold weather much like up north, what weight you running currently?
  25. Ya the trucks listed as 07 DEI trucks, or Intimidator editions were only for 2006. They had the Intimidator SS badges, DEI wing. The leftover 100, if this is true, cannot be considered DEI SS trucks as they are not badged, just 2007 Silverado SS trucks. Ive seen alot of nnbs/gmt-900 platform trucks try to be passed as SS' or even Intimidators is just someone trying to make an extra buck on something that isnt. Can you search your VIN number? That should reveal some info, my old boss was able to break down my VIN and get some real specific info on my truck as he owned a chevy dealership.
