If you dont want it much louder, your not going to want LTs. Stick with your stock manifolds. Unless you add a bunch of resonators. You need to sell that Corsa Sport and get a Corsa Touring. Also the Dynatech Supermaxx are a waste if your spending that amount of coin on LTs, go with the ARH headers. The 3" collectors are much better than the Dynatech Supermaxx 2.5" collectors. Or are you going with OBX Dynatechs? This will be what your setup is if your going Dynatech Supermaxx, balls out in my opinion but a cop magnet where I live. edit - Higher/more flow = more noise.

What year was the truck? How big was the boat? GMT-800 or 900 platform? Im guessing if its the 800 and regularly hauls a boat he has to have something going on underneath the hood. But still your truck should have said bye bye unless the boat was a small one...

I used both K&N and Mobil filters and Im switching to WIX.

I believe the member recieved it in the mail from his dealership, or it came with the truck. The letter stated I believe how many 07s they were, and it was a very small amount. The only suggestion I have is to contact a member who has an 07 on here and see if they have one and where it came from, or try calling your dealership (not sure if you bought it private or dealer). I would go as far as trying to GM and ask them about it. Wish I could help you out more.

The manual for the truck says no octane below 91 for the LQ9. I wont even put 91 in, only 93.

Gibson is just a tiny bit louder than stock, I like it alot it doesnt draw attention. You need to take those shorties off their a waste, you need Long Tube headers such as Dynatech or ARH. As far as exhaust do you want a deep tone exhaust (Billy Boat or Magnaflow) or something that is tame and only scares the piss outta people when you floor it (Corsa)? The Billy Boat with LTs will be obnoxiously loud. Same with the Corsa at wot with LTs. I personally like the 2/2 drop on stock 20s, or stock height with stock 22 replica rims. I like the rake.

^^^^Thats what my friends call, "the SS." Been called "the beast" by my best friend/boss when I drove it up a 40 degree angle hill with him in it in about a foot or more of snow. And also called "super slow" by some kids who want to race a 1988 bmw 325iX with an M3 motor, but they have never been in vehicle with serious power. I just call it "the truck." Not into names really, sounds cheesy imo to name it, unless a gf makes one up that has her jealous of my attention to the truck.

Im their a bunch 4 the commuter rail and a dr. I always see an Onyx Black RCSB truck with the SS bumper, street scene roll pan and SS badges. It could have been you, Ive seen a couple black SS' on rt 9. Theirs one with a diamond plated tool box and another one that looks stock, year 03-04. Ever see the blue ZR-1? Saw it one day on my way to surgery, he was parked at the post office near the Aegean.

Was coming back from Framigham and saw a Onyx Black SS, got behind him on rt 9. Then he turned onto 495 north as well did I. Truck had stock pipes but muffler was a deep tone, Im guessing it was louder magnaflow muffler. Truck look liked the rear was leveled out, or might have just been a bad angle I saw it from. Was an 03-04, not knocking it but needed to be washed up. Was around 315-330pm Edit - ID tags were the older green MA plates, not the red and blue colored font tags

I believe the classic 07s were leftover 06s that were DEI SS' that were not badged. Some member from up north had a certificate for an 07 and their were a very limited amount of the classics. Im guessing only 100 2007s because their were 1033 DEI SS' built in 06, however only 933 were badged). I can only recall 3 2007 trucks on this site. Wish I could get the thread that had the canadian member with the certificate for his 07. But that was before the site got a new format. I could be wrong, hope someone with the correct knowledge can chime in.

A bed cover/tonneau cover would help also
