  1. Any pictures and your asking price sir? I have dreamt of a OB/VR SSS two tone.
  2. Boxed, lifted, and did the Chuck Norris routine! Lifted 250 x30, boxed 2 matches after high school everyday with kids a lot bigger/stronger (6'4+, 250lbs+). The Chuck Norris machine is the better, however it will wreck your shoulders. I use to do 300 reps x4 a day to the point I tore my tendon in two spots. I miss those workouts.
  3. I am sorry to hear about this horrid event. Especially an 07 Sss
  4. Thank you idaho, I do not know much about mixtures in this area. I just was not sure if e85 is the same "mixture" as flex fuel, I have not seen an e 85 station. Thank you for the correction and input everyone
  5. I guess this thread is worthless then, sorry I do not follow cars as much as you do (I have no idea they have been running e85 or CNG in LS engines for years). I am just your average SSS enthusiast. And thought it was very interesting how idahoBLKss is running e85 and now Chevy is producing these engines to run on it. Was simply giving him a compliment as I thought this was new technology. Sorry for the old news everyone. My bad. edit - thank you for the correction though Shaun, I thought this was new technology. Please do not take my response as being harsh, I know you are into vehicles much more than I am.
  6. Just read an article. Looks like idahoBLKss beat GM to the E85. What do you all think? An engine that can run on gasoline, E85 and Compressed Natural Gas... http://www.gmhightechperformance.com/hotnews/1309_2015_chevy_silverado__cng_e85_compatible_ls_engine/
  7. Some of the best scenery pictures I have seen (different site). Hope you have a blast w/Zippy, Im curious to see what you may do to your truck
  8. Always listened to Metalica during soccer warm-ups wether it be a pre-season game or state finals. I was too young to know Cliff Burton in the band, but we played all albums pending how important the game was. Great music to pump you up and something I will never forget (warm-ups and metallica), RIP Cliff Burton.
  9. I think this would be a great cover for the calender they are making, nothing better than having a clean custom "built" SSS on the cover than anything else. I love that hood.
  10. I want in, currently moving to a new house and will not be ready until 11-15. Will you be doing a 2nd batch? Someone said set a date and that's it......however these shirts/hoodies come around once every 5 years, maybe? Just let me know if you have a XL black hoodie laying around when all is said and done. If not black I will settle for another color XL hoodie. Thank you.
  11. Thank you Michael for the info, was thinking OBX but those are not an option. Only ARH or staying stock manifolds. I heard that they sound like gabage without cats, I was hoping to get a Touring Exhaust however I will have to search high and low on truck sites for that. ARH and Sport seems like those are mods for the summer/spring. Thank you for the info, very helpful to an owner that does not have a Corsa/exhaust or LT's and then your comparison on each step makes it that much more helpful. -Andrew
  12. Look into the High Country Silverado if your budget allows, just saw one on the net yesterday and I love it. Good luck with your choice on whichever route you go Luke. Wish I could comment on the Cummins but I don't have any experience with them.
  13. Your Onyx Black truck is not plain/normal. I remember reading about it wayyy back in the day before I was a member and the mods that were done. May look normal, but sure is different. Please do not take this as a knock on the SB SSS, I just simply do not know its mods. Now get some pictures and make it happen! I am sure Gear M Up would be proud!
  14. ^^^^ You should check out Gibson or Borla muffs Xr4tic . I have migraine issues and cannot stand loud exhausts, drove a z71 with a K&N and Gibson and was just a tad bit louder than stock, but the power increase was their even without a tune. Corsa also but can only get the full exhaust (the stock pipes are great).
  15. Definetly agree about having shirts for a meet. Reason I was asking is I am in the hunt for a lot of zip up hoodies due to facial surgery. I have a great design for a hoodie but will cost around $100 per. I do plan on doing it eventually but not a group buy, unless they see the design they might change their decision. Glad to see your very motivated to get new shirts for the site going, and hope you get the approval soon
  16. I was already thinking incorporate it with a diagonal bowtie or SS graphics on the hood.
  17. 12 hour shifts, not a worry. I use to pull 24-36 snow removal. I would fly out tommorow if I was in remission. BadAssSilvy grab that job!!
  18. Definetly something I have not ever seen on these trucks, I mean that in a good way please dont take me wrong. I think it is a nice touch. I am also digging the street scene spoiler, just waiting on my new garage and see how much clearance I have to play with and might pull the trigger on one, found some hard top flush mount bed covers that will work with it.
  19. That is a steal of a price. I'd trade some of my vehicles in for this truck, I am in a cancer battle so my future is in jeopardy, yet alone my SSS. Please stay in touch, you might want to bring it to Loudon, may get some attention (then again you may not want to add miles and have to clean it up when you get their). I will never forget the video of your dynatechs and corsa. Good luck with the sale and hope everything works out for the best
  20. Would this include cleanest, no rust, well detailed? Or more so toward mods, how fast etc? All in the eye of the beholder like stated. I am very proud my truck is still stock from factory, not many can say that. I am perfectly happy with stock power, but my goal is 450-500hp at the crank when the time comes. edit - I have to give JC03SS respect, I have not seen a AB SSS truck have a detail show that well, especially the wet look. Also like his mods a lot. A member he knows also has one helluva truck.
  21. I must be confused, thank you for the correction sir. After seeing him in a Diesel for 6 months I thought the new 08+ HD Diesels came with an Allison 6spd (my error). When he got his new HD 08 he hated the 6spd (so it must have been gasoline) and traded it back in the same week he bought the 08 and went back to the 06 HD Diesel. I test drove all 3 trucks as he wanted to take my truck for a spin. My bad, but thank you for the kind correction sir.
  22. I would also go the Lingenfelter route, due to the same reason another member mentioned from sight and recomendation. Get 'er done!
  23. I remember reading the build thread or a thread that mentioned 454Lsx...sorry to hear about the misfortune. Just know she will be back up and running and tearing ish apart. The guys on the site won't steer you wrong. I've noticed only the elite few have chimed in on this, not myself which they can steer you in the right direction
