^^^^Well said. This has had me pondering the 2/2 or 2/3 static drop w/leafs. And so far the only answer is Bilstein shocks or new z60's due to terrible road conditions in certain parts near me. I saw pictures of a 5/5 drop on a SSS, looked bada$$....as always though the region will determine what you will need and what is best suitable for you and the truck.

I have been searching also, more hard to find f/s than the SSS (I could not find a TBSS under 90k miles and price was not reasonable). The one you found seems like a great deal.

No, not to my knowledge. They were installed in a GMC Z71, cloth interior. We had a whole range of different subwoofer setups ranging from four 8inchers to three 12inchers.

I love every aspect of what you have done with this truck, my favorite DEI SSS I have ever seen. I am not a drop person, but I think you have done a tasteful job with it, love the red bow tie, blacked out grille and graphics on the hood. Very clean truck. How do you like the R1 concept rotors? How is the difference in stopping power?

I drove a HD Diesel with the 6 speed and absolutely would never go with that transmission. It would keep shifting gears as if it could not make its mind up which gear to stay in. Contractor on my house let me drive it, then he traded it in for an older HD with the 4 speed. Just my opinion, it could have been my driving habit, who knows.

Exactly why I want to debadge my SS. Or add the shock security system to the truck. If they want it, they will get it sadly.

The question is, how do you like the ride with the stock z60s? I can recall one member that was f/i in CA and he stuck with Bilsteins on his drop. It all comes down to personal opinion but I like a tight, stiff ride so i can corner with my awd. Then again you are 2wd so it's all what you prefer sir

WRX vs the STI edition is a night and day difference (I did see the wrx mods and that will make it move for sure). I would be ashamed to own a WRX and only beat a 5500lb truck by one length.....congrats on your truck keeping up that would make most suby owners not happy knowing our pig can hang with them. Driven STI vs Porsche 911 TT and the Porsche owner was not too happy even though he won.
