I think you may be mistaken. The VIN on my SS was 2GCEK19N...
That's what I said, or was trying to say. "2GCEK19N" for awd and "2GCEC19N" for 2wd. Sorry for the confusion.
-
No, that's good, the k instead of the c means it's 4wd(awd), and not a 2wd.

Looks like a SSS grill that was all blacked out.
Look closer at the mesh, looks like a regular silverado grille that was blacked out.
-
I can't see the pic very good, but that grille doesn't look like an ss grille. The beginning of the vin should start "2GCEC19N".

Good choice, the 03 front ends look better, IMO.

You need to use the remote/power antenna output coming out of the pioneer, shouldn't have anything to do with the gm harness.

A relay is a relay, look near the horns. Our autoparts around here carry fiamm relays. Just look for something that looks like this. A four pin will do just fine. If you can't find one, just go to the counter and ask for a universal relay.

Yes, it's basically the same for any gm v8 used since around 1999. For your ss, it's exactly the same.

It's neither, it's a pushrod engine. The cam is right above the crankshaft. matt* has a good how to on it(see his below). I like the tsp 224, myself.

11, here as well. It's going towards the light and stance looks awesome.

I thought all 4l60s had 16 bolts. Mine has 17 bolts bolts and it's an 4l80. They looked up the wrong truck, a 2500 or something.

They changed the mufflers. Ruined a good SS
Since when does putting mufflers on something ruin it? I say that thing sounds DAMN good.

I actually learned something myself, I didn't know. I thought the base models used the individual leds and the premium models the lcd readout. However, my friend has an 06 d-max and it has the lcd PRNDM1 display.

Cvt is a shallow mount. I've never had a problem with kicker amps or subs, even when overpowering them. Although they wouldn't be my first choice, I'm kinda of a SQ guy and not so much on the SPL.
-
It can definitely be done, but you won't be getting much better mileage. I'd be surprised if it got more than 1-2 mpg more. You'd need to swap the front diff and t-case and get the 4wd module and switch to make it all work. The ss transfer case has a viscous clutch and is only one speed, it cannot be disengaged, and don't think about pulling the drive-shaft or cv axle's either.

That is pretty bad, but still, always try changing the fluid and filter before replacing the transmission. Filter very well could've been clogged, with all that gunk.

That's about how I feel about it. They should've listened to their administrators and stopped pulling stunts like that in the hallway. I don't believe it was different than any other annoyance they did. I can say when I was in high school I got suspended for stuff a lot less than that. Get over it!

Wow, I didn't realize I bought a thread back from the dead. Sorry guys.

Agreed, she doesn't help at all. Matter of fact, people back at GMT jump all over her every time she says something.

vent valve needs to be cleaned and/or replaced. It's located on top of the gas tank/evap canister, some people can see it between the cab and the bed.

Other causes are leaky gas cap and/or purge valve.

^^^ VERY well said. No apple for me, except my itouch.

They're all so nice and shiny.
Could Use A Little Help Please

Did it say anything about a front end collision, because the grille is not original.
